Effective August 1, 2026, we will be updating prices worldwide. The price of XBOX consoles will increase by US$100 for 512 GB models and US$150 for 1 TB models. We will also be sunsetting our 2 TB model.
Here the new official US pricing tier for Xbox;
- Xbox Series S (512GB): $499.99 (Up $100 from $399.99)
- Xbox Series S (1TB): $599.99 (Up $150 from $449.99)
- Xbox Series X (1TB Digital): $749.99 (Up $150 from $599.99)
- Xbox Series X (1TB with Disc Drive): $799.99 (Up $150 from $649.99)
- Xbox Series X (2TB): Discontinued
Microsoft attributed the hikes to an ongoing global “components crisis,” specifically highlighting that the market costs for console storage and memory (DRAM and NAND) have spiked by over 2.5x, largely driven by supply strains from the massive growth in AI data center infrastructure.
