Official Teaser of Clayface, in theaters 21st October 2026

DC and Warner Bros. just made another film about a DC Villain. The trailer description says, ““Clayface” unravels one man’s horrifying descent from rising Hollywood star to revenge-filled monster in a story that explores the loss of one’s identity and humanity, corrosive love, and the dark underbelly of scientific ambition.”

This is probably 6th DC villain to get their own movie or show. We have the Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn, Joker, the Penguin and if go back way further, we also have Catwoman. Considering how successful, the Penguin, Harley Quinn, Joker and in some way Suicide Squad, its not surprising that DC will try their luck with another villain.

The film is produced by Matt Reeves, Lynn Harris, James Gunn and Peter Safran, with Michael E. Uslan, Rafi Crohn, Paul Ritchie, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars P. Winther executive producing.

Clayface will be in theaters internationally beginning 21 October 2026 and in North America on October 23rd.

Real talk! The Blazers would not have won if Wemby hadn’t fallen to the ground and exited with a concussion. Even without Wemby, the Spurs still managed to build a 14-point lead (93–79) with eight and a half minutes left in the game; however, Portland went on a 27–10 run to close the game with a win.

Here’s a clip of that nasty Victor Wembanyama fall resulting in a concussion.

Game 3 of the first-round playoffs will now shift to Portland. We’ll see how San Antonio adjusts their game, especially if Victor Wembanyama is on limited playing time.

ABS-CBN: ICC upholds jurisdiction over Duterte case

Katrina Domingo, reporting for ABS-CBN News;

The International Criminal Court (ICC) upheld its jurisdiction over the crimes against humanity case filed against former President Rodrigo Duterte after the tribunal’s Appeals Chamber on Wednesday junked petitions to halt proceedings against the Philippines’ 16th president.

In its April 22 decision, the Appeals Chamber ruled that while the Philippines withdrew from the Rome Statute in March 2019, preliminary examinations on the situation in the Philippines started in February 2018, a year before the Duterte administration sent a formal notice to pull back from the treaty governing the ICC.

A majority of the Appeals Chamber rejected all four grounds raised by the defense where it argued that the Pre-Trial Chamber had committed errors in law in ruling that the ICC has jurisdiction over the Duterte case.

Having rejected the appeal, it said the related request for Duterte’s immediate release is moot.

This is big… as in big that the Duterte camp needs to shift their strategy, since the court (ICC) has effectively removed the final major legal obstacle preventing the case from moving toward a full trial and the case has a high probability of going to a full trial.

Lakers takes 2 – 0 over Rockets lead by James, Smart and Kennard (101 – 94)

Another dominant performance from LeBron James, as the Lakers secured a 101–94 victory over the Rockets in Game 2, extending their series lead to 2-0. Once again James flirted with a triple-double, racking up 28 points, 8rebounds, and 7 assists. Marcus Smart and Luke Kennard added 25 points and 23 points, respectively. Smart and Kennard also made a 8 of the 13 three-pointers of Lakers.

In the second quarter, Houston attempted a comeback fueled by Alperen Şengün and Jabari Smith Jr., but their efforts were undermined by self-inflicted wounds. Kevin Durant struggled with a game-high nine turnovers, and their half-court execution was generally sloppy, preventing the Rockets from closing the gap in the final minutes.

The Lakers are still without Luka Doncic (strained hamstring) and Austin Reaves (strained oblique); this latest win will allow them to get more rest. The series now shifts to Houston for Game 3 this Friday, where the Rockets will face a must-win scenario to avoid a 0-3 deficit.

Game Highlights;

Wolves erases Nuggets’ 19-point lead to even the series (119 – 114)

ESPN;

DENVER — — A big early deficit in Denver didn’t bother the Minnesota Timberwolves, who two years ago staged the biggest Game 7 comeback in NBA history, clawing out of a 20-point hole to beat the Nuggets and advance to the Western Conference finals.

This time, they overcame a 19-point deficit, rallying past the Nuggets 119-114 on Monday night behind 30 points from Anthony Edwards and 24 from Julius Randle to tie their first-round playoff series at one game each.

An epic comeback from the Minnesota Timberwolves and an epic choke job by the Nuggets!

Victor Wembanyama Wins the 2026 NBA Defensive Player of the Year

Wemby is basically blocking and rebounding the ball at the sametime! 😀

Update: As per Michael C. Wright, reporting for ESPN;

SAN ANTONIO — Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was named NBA Defensive Player of the Year on Monday night, becoming the first to win the award unanimously and setting the 7-foot-4 phenom on a path he predicted for himself as a rookie.

Wembanyama is also a finalist for 2026 NBA MVP.

NBA: Michael Jordan’s 63-PT Playoff Game

On this day in NBA history, Michael Jordan delivered one of the greatest scoring performances the game has ever seen.

In Game 2 of the 1986 First Round, a 23-year-old Jordan exploded for a playoff-record 63 points against the Boston Celtics, pushing the eventual NBA champions to double overtime. He finished with 22 made field goals and 21 free throw attempts, as two Celtics fouled out trying to contain him.

Despite the Chicago Bulls falling 135-131, the performance became instantly legendary.

After the game, Larry Bird said it best:
“I think he’s God disguised as Michael Jordan.”

Spurs defeats Trail Blazers as Wembanyama Makes History in Playoff Debut (111 – 98)

The San Antonio Spurs officially ended their six-season postseason drought with a commanding 111-98 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 1 of the Western Conference first round Playoffs.

Victor Wembanyama stole the show in his playoff debut, exploding for 35 points, breaking Tim Duncan’s franchise record for a postseason opener. Supported by Stephon Castle and De’Aaron Fox, who added 17 points each, with 7 and 8 assists, respectively. The Spurs led throughout at a raucous Frost Bank Center. Despite a valiant 30-point effort from Portland’s Deni Avdija, the Blazers struggled to contain San Antonio’s length and defensive efficiency. The Spurs now hold a 1-0 series lead heading into Game 2.

Kennard scores 27, LeBron leads Lakers to surprising 107-98 win over Rockets in playoff opener

ESPN;

LOS ANGELES — — Luke Kennard scored a career playoff-high 27 points, LeBron James had 19 points and 13 assists, and the short-handed Los Angeles Lakers capitalized on Kevin Durant’s injury absence for a 107-98 victory over the Houston Rockets in the opener of their first-round playoff series on Saturday night.

Deandre Ayton had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the fourth-seeded Lakers, who pulled off an impressive win without their top two scorers.

The absence of Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves, have little to no affect at all with the Lakers, while the Rockets really needed KD in this game. Plus, Lebron James was vintage and was 2 rebounds aways for a triple-double.

Game 2 of the Lakers-Rockets series will be Tuesday night at Crypto.com Arena.

Suns oust Warriors in the Final Game of the Play-In (111–96)

The Phoenix Suns secured the final playoff spot in the Western Conference on Friday night, defeating the Golden State Warriors 111–96 in a winner-take-all play-in tournament finale. Led by a stellar performance from Jalen Green, who exploded for 36 points and eight three-pointers, the Suns clinched the No. 8 seed and a first-round date with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Phoenix dominated early, jumping to an 18-point lead in the first quarter. While the Warriors clawed back to within five points by halftime, the Suns’ defense proved too much. Stephen Curry was held to just 17 points on 4-of-16 shooting as the Suns’ backcourt harassed him all night. Devin Booker contributed 20 points before being ejected late in the fourth quarter following a heated exchange with Draymond Green.

The loss ends Warriors’ season, while the Suns head into the postseason and will face the OKC Thunder in the 1st round of the Playoffs.

Aliyah Boston Inks Historic EPIC Deal with the Indiana Fever

Indiana Fever;

The Indiana Fever and Aliyah Boston have agreed to a new contract, with the center signing a new, multiyear agreement through the 2029 WNBA season. With the agreement, Boston becomes the first player in WNBA history to sign a deal under the newly-created Exceptional Performance on Initial Contract (EPIC) provision.

Indiana did not provide any financial details on the contract but ESPN’s Alexa Philippou reports that the deal is “a four-year, $6.3 million contract extension with the Indiana Fever, giving her the richest total salary in league history to date.” Boston will earn $1M this year, then 20% of the cap through 2029, which is approximately $1.77 million per year, for the final three years of her contract.

The new deal secures Aliyah Boston’s long-term future with the Fever, especially since Caitlin Clark is expected to receive a similar, if not larger, contract from Indiana.

Official Trailer of Street Fighter

Set in 1993, estranged Street Fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are thrown back into combat when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament: a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury. But behind this battle royale lies a deadly conspiracy that forces them to face off against each other and the demons of their past. And if they don’t, it’s GAME OVER!

Helmed by director Kitao Sakurai, Street Fighter is set to bring the battle from the arcade to the big screen with Hadoukens, roundhouses, and all your favorite characters.

Here’s hoping that it’ll be a better film than the 1994 Street Fighter featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Official Trailer of Focker-In-Law

The circle of trust just got bigger. Focker-In-Law is in theaters this Thanksgiving.
______

This November, comedy icon and Emmy winner Ben Stiller and two-time Oscar® winner Robert De Niro reunite, joined by Grammy winner and Oscar® nominee Ariana Grande, in Focker-In-Law, a new chapter in the blockbuster Meet the Parents franchise.

Written and directed by John Hamburg, who co-wrote the three previous Meet the Parents films, Focker-In-Law is produced by Oscar® nominee Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro for Tribeca Productions; Ben Stiller and Oscar® winner John Lesher for Red Hour Films; Emmy winner Jay Roach for Delirious Media; and John Hamburg for Particular Pictures.

Loved the first film; the second and third are great, but the comedy is a little too much for me. It looks like the comedy in Little Fockers will be somewhere between the original film and the sequels.

Final 5-Mins of Golden State Warriors versus Los Angeles Clipper Play-in Game

Golden State caught fire collectively, shooting 15‑of‑20 from the field (75%) and 8‑of‑11 from three (72.7%) in the final frame, with Draymond Green sealing the win by coming up with two clutch steals down the stretch. After defeating the Clippers 126–121, the Warriors now head to Phoenix to face the Suns for the 8th seed and the final spot in the Western Conference playoffs.

That was a wild game and a defensive clinic by the Warriors.

Warriors will face the Suns this Friday, for the 8th spot of the NBA Playoff and will play the defending champs OKC Thunder in the 1st round.

Warriors move past Clippers lead by Horford, Curry and Green (126-121)

The Golden State Warriors completed a stunning 126–121 comeback victory over the LA Clippers in Wednesday’s high-stakes play-in tournament. Trailing by 13 in the fourth quarter, the Warriors ignited a 16–6 closing run and held Kawhi Leonard scoreless until the final 16 seconds of the game.

Steph Curry was sensational, scoring 35 points on 7-of-12 shooting from deep, becoming the oldest point guard in NBA history to record a 35-point game. While Curry provided the spark, Draymond Green anchored the defense with 3 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, and 4 steals—two of which came in the final frame. Green spearheaded a physical team effort that neutralized Leonard for nearly the entire quarter. Al Horford added 14 points, including three consecutive clutch triples down the stretch. This win keeps Golden State’s season alive; they now travel to Phoenix for a do-or-die matchup against the Suns for the 8th seed and face the defending champion Oklahoma City in the first round.

Game highlights;

A’ja Wilson is staying in Vegas $5M Supermax for 3 years

That’s a no brainer for Las Vegas, Wilson is arguably the best player in the WNBA and I’m sure that $5M is just pocket change for the owners!

Andraya Carter and Shams Charania, reporting for ESPN;

Last season, Wilson became the first WNBA or NBA player to win the scoring title, MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and Finals MVP all in the same season. She averaged 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.3 blocks and 1.6 steals while shooting 50.5% from the field in 2025.

That’s a stats of a G.O.A.T. in the making!

Every Pick of Indiana Fever in the 2026 WNBA Draft

Indiana Fever will be the No. 10 in this year’s 2026 WNBA Draft and from the 1st to 3rd round, they made the best out of what’s available with their pick.

Below are the picks of Indiana Fever in the 2026 WNBA Draft;

1st round – Raven Johnson from South Carolina, she’s famous for being waved by Caitlin Clark during the 2022 Final Four game between Clark’s Iowa’s Hawkeyes and South Carolina.

Stat-wise, Johnson is a 5’9″ guard, who has improved her outside shooting since “that game” against Clark and Hawkeyes in the Final Four. In her final collegiate season, Johnson posted career-highs across several categories:

  • Points Per Game: 9.9
  • Assists Per Game: 4.0
  • Rebounds Per Game: 4.0
  • Steals Per Game: 1.5
  • FG%: 42.3%
  • 3P%: 39.8%

It’s funny how after what has happened between the two, Clark and Johnson are now teammates.

2nd round – Justine Pissott from 6-foot-4 forward out of Vanderbilt. Justine Pissott from 6-foot-4 forward out of Vanderbilt. She is the first Vanderbilt player to be drafted into the WNBA under fifth-year Commodore head coach Shea Ralph. In her last year in College, Pissott had a career year in 2025-26, putting up 11.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.9 blocks per game, all career-bests.

She will be a great addition to the Fever and playing along side Caitlin Clark will be a great stretch big with her career 40% in the 3-point line at Vanderbilt, 9th-best in school history.

3rd round – Jessica Timmons a 5-foot-8 guard from the Alabama Crimson Tide from the University of Alabama, she averages 16.3 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.3 apg and 39.4% from the 3-point line.

As the 40th draft pick, she will most likely be at the end of the roster and will be a 3rd stringer at the guard position and may see limited playing time.

Roblox Partners with DICT and CICC to Launch New Child Safety Features in the Philippines

Following a high-level meeting with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), Roblox has announced a major safety initiative tailored for Filipino users.

The platform is introducing two new account types—Roblox Kids and Roblox Select—designed to bolster online protection for children through age-appropriate content and verified security measures.

Key safety measures include:

  • Automatic Placement: Users are sorted into accounts based on verified age.
  • Restricted Communication: Chat is disabled for those under 9, while older children have access to filtered chat limited to peers and “Trusted Friends.”
  • Enhanced Parental Controls: Filipino parents can now block specific games and manage chat settings.

DICT Secretary Henry Aguda and CICC Usec. Aboy Paraiso highlighted a new “green lane” agreement, allowing parents to report grievances or harmful content directly via Hotline 1326. While the government commends Roblox’s commitment to “Digital Bayanihan,” officials emphasized that online safety remains a shared responsibility. They urged parents to remain vigilant in monitoring their children’s digital activities to ensure a secure and positive environment for their development.

You can read the full statement at Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

Roblox Introduces New Age-Based Accounts and Expanded Parental Controls for Users Under 16

By David Baszucki, Founder and CEO of Roblox;

We’re introducing two new age-based accounts for younger users on Roblox: Roblox Kids for users ages 5 to 8 and Roblox Select for users ages 9 to 15*. When they roll out in early June, these accounts will more closely align content access, communication settings, and parental controls with a user’s age. We’re also establishing an ongoing selection process for games available to users under 16.

This update will bring age checks, account-level defaults, content ratings, ongoing moderation, and expanded parental controls together into a unified framework for younger users. Based on our selection criteria, we believe age-checked users under 16 will have access to the vast majority of their favorite games at launch. Age-checked users 16 and older will not see any change to their Roblox experience.

With these two new age-based accounts for younger users, Roblox is putting social media giants to shame, specially if those social media networks are basically “sweeping this social-media-is-addicting-to-kids topic under the rug.”

With these two new age-based accounts for younger users, Roblox is putting social media giants to shame—especially those that continue to “sweep the issue of social media addiction under the rug.”

As a father of children who play Roblox, I find this to be an essential safeguard alongside our existing parental controls. It provides much-needed peace of mind, particularly as they explore the wide variety of games the platform offers.

First look at Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be theaters in June 8th, 2027

Marvel just released a number of screen capture of the upcoming Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and announced that the latest Spider-Man animated film will be released on 8th of June 2027. It’s been reported that this will be the final film of Miles Morales’ Spider-man.

The images provide a striking glimpse into the aftermath of Across the Spider-Verse, highlighting the tension as Miles Morales navigates the dangerous reality of Earth-42. Of all the images that Marvel released, the stills that stands our is the confrontation between Miles and Spider-Man 2099 (upper right image), Miguel O’Hara, while another captures a poignant moment between a younger Miles and his father, Jefferson Davis (upper left image).

Neither Marvel nor Sony has mentioned if they will release a trailer for the film. Considering it is more than 14 months until its release date, we may not see a trailer anytime soon.

Yugatech: VinFast Philippines offers EV rentals from ₱1,000/day for TNVS drivers in PH

Anton Gabriel, writing for Yugatech;

VinFast Philippines is rolling out a new program that allows ride-hailing drivers to rent electric vehicles (EVs) for as low as ₱1,000 per day, aiming to make EV adoption more accessible for the transport sector.

The initiative targets Transportation Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) drivers and operators, offering flexible rental and ownership options for models under its Green lineup, including the Herio Green and Limo Green.

This is terms of the offer.

Under the rental program, drivers are required to pay an upfront deposit and choose a contract duration. Longer-term plans are available, with daily rental rates starting at around ₱1,000, depending on the agreement.

This is a great program, especially for TNVS drivers and operators looking to switch from ICE to EV. It serves as an excellent starting point. A number of TNVS drivers/operators I’ve spoken with earn an average of 3k to 5k a day. They often mention that being a TNVS driver gives them a lot of freedom — essentially a much better work-life balance, unlike their previous experiences in the corporate world or as an OFW.

WNBA Free Agency: Sophie Cunningham Resigns with the Indiana Fever

The Indiana Fever have officially announced the return of fan-favorite guard Sophie Cunningham for the 2026 season. After being acquired via trade from the Phoenix Mercury in 2025, Cunningham quickly cemented herself as a cornerstone of the Fever’s roster and a locker-room leader.

Despite a shortened 2025 campaign due to an MCL tear in the final month of the regular season, Cunningham’s impact was undeniable. She stepped up significantly during Caitlin Clark’s injury-related absence, providing elite floor spacing and veteran grit. Her statistical contributions were stellar, as she shot:

  • 47% from the field overall.
  • 43% from 3-point range (ranking 3rd in the WNBA).

General Manager Amber Cox praised Cunningham’s “infectious energy” and competitive spirit, noting that her elite perimeter shooting creates vital opportunities for her teammates. Cunningham expressed her excitement to return to Indianapolis, citing a desire to finish what the team started during their “special” 2025 run. Now fully recovered, the sharpshooting veteran is expected to be a primary catalyst in Indiana’s 2026 championship pursuit, much to the delight of a fanbase she has dubbed the best in the league.
