It looks like Indiana will have it’s core player for this year as Kelsey Mitchell resigns with the Fever. This will be Mitchell’s 8th season with the franchise, who drafted her as the second overall pick in the 2018 WNBA draft.
In a statement by the Indiana Fever, “Kelsey has been a foundation of our franchise for many years, and we are thrilled to see her return to the Fever,” said President of Basketball and Business Operations Kelly Krauskopf, who drafted Mitchell in 2018. “We value Kelsey’s commitment to our organization, and we’re excited to see her build off a phenomenal 2024, her best season yet. She is one of the best guards in this league and is a cornerstone to building a championship roster.”
Here’s the Kelsey Mitchell’s stats last season; 19.2 points per game, 46.8% field goal, 40.2% from behind the three-point line and grabbed 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game, respectively.

The resigning of Kelsey Mitchell, the Indiana Fever will keep their 3-core players that includes Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark, with they could potentially make a deep run in this years WNBA playoff and even contend for the Championship.
