Grab Philippines clears driver after being accused of lascivious acts by his passenger

Grab Philippines has released an official statement regarding one of its driver-partner of being accused of lascivious acts by his passenger. In their statement, Grab Philippines said “After a comprehensive review of the Audio Protect recording from the trip, the driver-partner’s profile, and performance history, we found no conclusive evidence to support the allegations or indicate any malicious intent.”

“We have met with the passenger’s family and the driver-partner separately to share the findings of our investigation. During these discussions, we listened to their concerns and provided support on issues that required clarification. We deeply appreciate their willingness to engage constructively in resolving the matter.” the ridesharing company added.

In a Facebook that’s been deleted, the Grab passenger, a student at “Saint Paul QC” posted on their social media account that their “Grab Driver M⭑STURBATED DURING THE TRIP.” and “this manyakis was already breathing heavily and was acting weird.” The driver was quick to answer that it was because of his “health problems and breathing issues” that may have lead the passenger to post the viral post.
