Marvel just release the last trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, which will be in theater this 26th of July. Marvel was careful not to give up the premise of the film even though we can see Deadpool talking to Wolverine to help him save his world.
There are a number of cameo that confirms previous reports like the appearance of an older as Laura / X-23, who we first in Logon. Then there’s Toad, Aaron Stanford, reprising his role as Pyro in X2 (2003) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), we can also see Sabretooth from X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Then there’s clip of Lady Deadpool, though, we still do not know who is playing who, since there have been speculation that Taylor Swift is Lady Deadpool, then there’s the rumor that Ryan Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively will play Lady Deadppool, then there’s this Wiki article that says Taylor Swift will be playing Dazzler. I guess we just have to watch the movie to know for sure.
Deadpool & Wolverine is written by Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells. The film will be in theaters this July 26th.

Riot Games finally withdrew all lawsuits against Moonton for alleged copyright infringement.
History
The first time Riot Games filed a lawsuit against Mobile Legends was in 2017, for the supposed copyright infringement of their assets, in addition to stylistic similarities. Prior to this, Riot Games had reached out to Google to remove Mobile Legends from the Play Store. However, Moonton relaunched as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang before Google could take action. The court dismissed the copyright infringement lawsuit in 2017. Tencent, which is currently the parent company for Riot Games, again filed a case against Moonton CEO Xu Zhenhua for allegedly violating the non-compete clause in his contract. The lawsuit settled for $2.7 million. Despite Tencent’s win against Moonton, the case details never revealed if Xu Zhenhua did in fact infringe on copyright. Riot Games still filed lawsuits against Moonton in the following years for a variety of reasons, including title card similarities – the Mobile Legends Bang Bang title card was updated the following year as League of Legends released its new logo in 2019.

Aniplex USA just release the official trailer of Demon Slayer Season 4 â Hashira Training Arc. Unlike the previous trailer, this one includes actual footage from the series and as expected, it’ll be an extensive training for Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke, in order to become a Hashira, the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest ranking swordsmen and members.

Netflix just released the official trailer for the live action adaptation of the famous manga/anime Parasyte.
This film adaptation however does not have Shinichi as the main character. The film may possibly explore other characters from the manga.Â
The trailer shows a female lead, starred by Jeon So-Nee, as she attempts to survive in a world ravaged by parasite-infested humans. The premise does have similarities to how Shinichi co-exists with his parasyte Migi.
Other cast members are new-ish faces in Netflix, but with rather diverse performance portfolios. Koo Kyo-Hwan takes on the role of Seol Kang-woo. The trailer doesn’t reveal much of his role but it looks like he will be a major supporting character. Singer-actress Lee Jung-hyun will act as part of a police force that will combat the onslaught of deadly parasites.

This is not the manga’s first live-action adaptation. The 2014 film Parasyte: Part 1, directed by Takashi Yamazaki, was followed shortly by Parasyte: Part 2 the following year.
In comparison to the first two films, this adaptation seems to be more visceral and has a darker undertone due to an urban setting and more mature characters.
Parasyte: The Grey will stream on Netflix starting April 6 this year.
The sudden loss of Jaclyn Jose saddened the Philippine Entertainment Industry. The cause of death was a heart attack. Jaclyn Jose, born as Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, received international acclaim when she won Best Actress in Cannes Film Festival, becoming the first ever Filipino to receive it.
She starred famously in the Batang Quiapo drama series as the antagonist Dolores Espinas. Even before, she played antagonist roles convincingly well. Netflix just released the full animated film Nimona on its channel four days ago. The story centers on Ballister and his shapeshifting sidekick, Nimona.
Nimona was Blue Sky Studio’s last project before shutting down. Blue Sky Studios is the team behind the widely successful Ice Age series, Rio, and Spies in Disguise.
Due to economic uncertainty, Blue Sky Studios had to shut down before they got the chance to finish the project. However, previous employees at Blue Sky Studios still worked on the project to bring it to life.
The film had been in the works since 2015, and the release date originally scheduled for a 2022 release. Disney also rejected the film, stating that it contained LGBT themes, as revealed by an interview by three former Blue Sky Studios employees.
In a fortunate turn of events, Annapurna Animation picked up the project and brought it back from development limbo. The voice cast for Nimona includes Chloe-Grace Moretz, Riz Ahmed, Frances Conroy, and Eugene Lee Yang.
The film received positive reception by the audience, scoring a high 7.5 in IMDb.

The live action adaption of Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender is scheduled to be available tomorrow Feb 22, 2024 on Netflix, to help promote the series in the region, Netflix Philippines taps the services of Melai Cantiveros for their Appa Air video promo.
In a 3 mins video (embedded below), Melai who plays as the flight attendant of Appa Air provided a brief explainer of the coming series mixed with her comedic chops. The trailer reveals a young girl named Tola and her cyborg critter pet Otin. Otin is an Agama lizard, also called a rainbow lizard for their striking color patterns. Tolaâs new cyber friend will be a hero of sorts as it becomes Tolaâs protector.
Important to point out though: Disney did not animate Iwaju. The series is a collaboration between Britain-based company Kugali Media and Disney+. African artists, who comprise a majority of Kugali media, founded the company with the goal of telling African stories through animation and media.

Iwajuâs creator, Ziki Nelson, takes inspiration from Lagos being a melting pot of cultures in Africa, and says that the city has a âdistinct feelâ.
Madame Web is the latest “addition” to Sonyâs Spider-verse. The Spiderman film franchise has been hugely successful thanks to amazing leads like Toby Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland.
However, it looks like not even Dakota Johnsonâs acting skills can wrap the movie up nicely. We know Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steel sold the Fifty shades fantasy well. Her personality bleeds into Anastasia Steele and she sets up the submissive role perfectly.
Additionally, Dakota Johnsonâs dry humor is what makes her likable in interviews.

So why do audiences and film critics not like the latest Spider-verse “addition”?
To start, the trailer revealed a voice over by Cassandra Webb (Dakota Johnson) that wasnât even in the film. While some audiences may not care about this minor detail, it could have been useful to include it. Especially since the antagonist had a major role to play on how Cassandra came to be.
There were some awkward lines in the movie as well that deserve a meme comparable to Anakinâs in George Lucasâ Star Wars. Anakinâs âI don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.â is similar to âHope the spiders were worth it, Mom.â In fact, the line has become a meme commodity for the internet.

So bad dialogue aside, the directing also contributes to the filmâs meme-worthiness. S.J. Clarkson did work on some episodes of successful series like Dexter, House, and Heroes. The director also worked on a Game of Thrones prequel entitled Bloodmoon, however, HBO didnât air it. Most of these series have a tone vastly different from that of a superhero movie, and thatâs probably the reason why Madame Webb just didnât work.
While Madame Web is spinning out of control, one could wonder if the filmâs meme status could reclaim it. Although itâs not a main Spiderman arc, Madame Web should be a solid reminder not to approach superhero movies the way Sony did Morbius.

Netflix just release the official trailer of Damsel, the streaming giant’s fantasy film featuring Millie Bobby Brown for the lead role.
The premise of the film may have already spoiled the film but what the trailer (embedded below) shows us is that it’ll be filled with action sequences, sword fights and lots of special effects, not to mentions all those beautiful scenery.

For viewers who havenât seen the musical, this is their chance to see the world of Oz and Emerald City. This time, Dorothy is not the main focus (or is she?). The film offers a more personal view of Emerald Cityâs characters and their relationship. Elpheba, who is traditionally known as the Wicked Witch of the West, is getting a spotlight in this film as the focus shifts away from the classical protagonist and more into her personal journey.
The trailer also revealed big personalities. While Ariana Grande plays Glinda, much of the singing comes from other vocalists. Jeff Goldblum (Thor: Ragnarok) will play the sinister Wizard of Oz and Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once) as Madame Morrible.
In addition to the spectacular cast, the teaser also shows intricate major set design which would be a feast for the eyes. In comparison to the Broadway Musical, the film fleshes out the environment of Oz in greater detail. Some glimpses in the trailer also showed iconic objects from the World of Oz, including the iconic ruby slippers Dorothy receives from Glinda.

20th Century Studios just release the official trailer of the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. The film will serve as the sequel to the to War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) and is the fourth installment in the Planet of the Apes reboot franchise.

Marvel Studios just released the teaser trailer for “Deadpool 3: Deadpool & Wolverine.” After mixed critical reception for some Phase 4 and early Phase 5 films, the “Deadpool & Wolverine” project presents itself as a potential breath of fresh air and the film the MCU might need to reinvigorate itself. It could also pave the way for full introduction of mutants, the X-Men, and other Marvel properties.
From the trailer itself, we get to see that the Time Variance Authority (TVA) will be featured in the film, which means that Deadpool and in some capacity, Wolverine will have the ability to go to different Marvel timeline and change the course of that particular timeline be it the past, present and future. Just imagine, the duo joining the avengers with their fight against Ultron or Thanos, or Deadpool snatching the Nano Gauntlet from Tony Stark and the one snapping his fingers. That will surely “change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe”.

In the teaser video, it shows Wade Wilson’s birthday party and his subsequent abduction by the TVA. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe would know that the organization was officially introduced in Disneyâs limited series Loki.
The teaser also reveals Wolverine, however, it’s not positive if this iteration of Wolverine is the X-Men version from Fox Studios. Disney’s acquisition of Fox gives them rights over the X-Men characters, so this should not be an issue.

Paramount has announced the Knuckles Limited Series on Paramount Plus. When Knuckles the Echidnaâs first appeared in the Sonic film franchise, it didnât indicate a separate series. However, fans will be happy to know that the red echidna will be getting his own series on Paramount Plus by April 26th of this year.
In contrast to Sonicâs hero archetype and Tailsâ more peaceful composure, Knucklesâ warrior instincts will entertain the audience with superpowered fistfights and flashy action. Knuckles was first introduced in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022), after aiding Dr. Robotnik escapes the mushroom planet as they go in search of Sonic.

After Knucklesâ change of heart and the following conversation with Sonic, the charactersâ lines about âfinding a familyâ did suggest a fate befitting the red echidna. Knuckleswill be exploring this scenario. The timeline for Knuckles is set between the second and upcoming 3rd Sonic film this December 2024.

Paramount just release the official trailer of A Quiet Place: Day One. It’s the spin-off prequel to the first two “A Quiet Place” film. The film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn and Alex Wolff, with Djimon Hounsou reprising his role from second A Quiet Place film.
The trailer shows New York City on “the day our world went quiet,” as mentioned on the description of the video, marking the day extraterrestrial creatures with no sight but with acute hearing came to Earth, terrorizing and killing much of the Earth’s population, which lead to the world living in silence as portrayed in the first movie, “A Quiet Place.”
A Quiet Place: Day One will be the third movie of the A Quiet Place franchise. Written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, and based on an original story by John Krasinski and Michael Sarnoski. The film is scheduled hit the big screen this 28th June 2024.
Megamind is returning after more than a decade. The eccentric, blue-skinned villain Megamind will be facing new enemies⊠in the form of old friends?
In the trailer, the supervillain-turned-hero will need to pick up his old villain mantle. As an evil group returns to his past, he will pick up some old habits to try to appease their villainous sides.

Dreamworks Animation Studios produced the first Megamind animation film which received positive ratings. Will Ferrel voiced the protagonist, while Brad Pitt voiced Metro Man. Tina Fey and Jonah Hill voiced Roxanne the news reporter, and Hal Steward, her assistant.
Aside from missing a number of characters, Megamind and Roxanne Ritchi will have a different voice actor, to the dismay of fans. Voice actor Keith Ferguson will take on Ferrelâs role, while Laura Post is cast as the voice of Roxanne Ritchi, Megamind’s love interest, Tina Fey was the voice of Roxanne from the original film.

The Megamind sequel titled âMegamind vs. the Doom Syndicateâ is available for streaming on Peacock on March 1, 2024.
Netflix just announced that second part of Rebel Moon – The Scargiver will be out this 19th of April. The teaser trailer of Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon: Part 2 – The Scargiver is included in the recently release trailer by Netflix for its upcoming titles this 2024, which also includes the new season of Squid Game Season, among others.
The announcement was also made using the social media account of the film and Netflix, which featured the new look of Sofia Boutella as Kora holding two pistols, with her shirt covered in blood. The short hair hints that the image could be from a flash back when Kora as an Imperium officer.

Veteran host Boy Abunda just confirmed that celebrity couple Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque have split up and calls off their wedding. In the opening of the February 6 episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” sharing he was in Hong Kong over the weekend for work reasons when he received two devastating news.
First is the death of ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal, whom Boy quickly paid tribute to. Then he immediately went to the Bea and Dominic’s break-up.
Boy Abunda said “Ako’y nalungkot talaga dahil madalas kami nagkikita ni Bea, nagkukuwentuhan kami sa buhay, sa kanila, their marriage plans, et cetera.” Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque got engaged last July 2023 after Dominic proposed to Bea in Las Casas.
Abunda’s statement verified the accuracy of Ogie Diaz’s report that Bea and Dominic had indeed parted ways, video below.
As of this posting, Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque have not spoken about the details and have not made any changes to their social media accounts in relation to their engagement.

It’s official, Milly Alcock star of HBO’s House of Dragon will be Supergirl in James Gunn’s DCU.
The Australia-born Milly Alcock have been acting since 2013 and known for her roles in Foxtel comedy-drama Upright, where she received an AACTA Award nomination. Alcock is also known for her role as the young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen in the first season of HBOâs Game of Thrones prequel spinoff House of the Dragon.

The family is on the run as new enemies come back for revenge. Voice actors Joey King and Sofia Vergara take on the role of Maxime and Valentina as the antagonists. The duo will pursue the Gru family relentlessly on their quest for payback.
The heinous but comical protagonist will be facing off similarly evil grandmothers and a badger with a penchant for violence, all the while demonstrating to his son the works of a supervillain.
Steve Carell (The Office, The 40-year-Old Virgin) plays the voice actor for Gru, a villain turned family man for three kids. Actress and SNL comedian Kristen Wiig voices Lucy Wilde.
The movie will premiere in theaters on July 3, 2024.
