Almost 20 years after making their iconic turn as Miranda, Andy, Emily and Nigel—Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine in the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2006 phenomenon that defined a generation.
The film reunites the original main cast with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, and introduces an all-new runway of characters including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Here’s the premise of the film;
Science teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) wakes up on a spaceship light years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, he begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction… but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone.

DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has officially broken the internet by sharing a first-look teaser of Jason Momoa as Lobo. In the viral clip, Momoa exits his trailer sporting the character’s iconic fangs and a cigar, simply drawling, “Finally.”

This is a live action film of Masters of The Universe, which is based on Mattel’s original “Masters of the Universe” 5.5-inch action-figure toy line.
The film is directed by Travis Knight, and written by Chris Butler, Aaron and Adam Nee, and Dave Callaham. Nicholas Galitzine will portray Prince Adam / He-Man, who returns to his home planet Eternia to save it from the evil forces of Skeletor, played by Jared Leto. The Tomb Raider series was develop by Phoebe Waller-Bridge for Amazon Prime Video. Megan McDonnell, who wrote a number a of series and film for Marvel was tapped as the writer for the upcoming Tomb Raider series.
Tomb Raider series features Game of Thrones and X-Men star Sophie Turner as Lara Croft with Martin Bobb-Semple, Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, and Bill Paterson. The series is set to be released on Amazon Prime Video.
Women’s Tennis Rising star Alexandra Eala stunned veteran Donna Vekic at the ASB Classic in a performance that felt more like a high-stakes football match than a tennis tournament. Supported by a roaring “army” of Filipino fans in Auckland, the world No. 53 triumphed 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in an enthralling contest that lasted for two hours and 40 minutes.
The match peaked in the third set. After Eala failed to serve out the match at 5-3, she displayed remarkable resilience, attacking Vekic’s returns to break back immediately and secure the victory. Eala, who is currently ranked at No. 50, a career-high, late last year, credited the electric “homec crowd” atmosphere for helping her navigate the tension.

Stranger Things 5 just wrapped up this past New Year’s Eve, and while the spin-off series is already in production, Netflix has something extra for fans. The season is set to adapt the manga’s “Itadori’s Extermination”, “Perfect Preparation”, and “Culling Game” story arcs.The plot follows the Jujutsu Sorcerers entering the Culling Game, with their main intention of fighting off Kenjaku, and freeing Satoru Gojo from the Prison Realm.

Netflix and Warner Bros. announced that the streaming giant will will acquire Warner Bros., including its film and television studios, HBO, and HBO Max. The cash and stock transaction is valued at a total enterprise value of approximately $82.7 billion (equity value of $72.0 billion).
The acquisition aims to unite Warner Bros.’ iconic franchises and storied libraries with Netflix’s leading entertainment service and global reach. This combination will integrate world-class assets like Game of Thrones, the DC Universe, The Sopranos, and classics such as Friends and Harry Potter, with Netflix’s existing portfolio.
The companies stated the deal will offer more choice and greater value for consumers, create more opportunities for the creative community, and strengthen the overall entertainment industry. Netflix plans to maintain Warner Bros.’ current operations, including theatrical releases.
The transaction is expected to close after the previously announced separation of WBD’s Global Networks division, Discovery Global, which is anticipated to be completed in Q3 2026. Netflix expects to achieve at least $2-3 billion in annual cost savings by the third year and for the deal to be accretive to GAAP earnings per share by the second year. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and WBD shareholder approval.

Netflix just release the official trailer of Stranger Things Season 5, it appears there will be an all-out “war” between Vecna vs Eleven vs the Military. Netflix divided the Stranger Things’ Final season in three; Volume 1 (episode 1 to 4), Volume 2 (5 to 7) and the Finale (episode 8).
And to tease its fans, Netflix release the first five minutes of Season 5 (embedded below).
Volume 1 will debut on Netflix this November 26th, while Volume 2 on Christmas day and the Finale will be on New Year’s Eve.

We finally have a release window for the second season of Dorohedoro. Announced from the official X account of the series, @dorohedoro_PR, the series will have a “Near-Simultaneous Worldwide Release” on the Springof 2026, which could be anytime in March, April or May. Considering the last episode of Season 1 was released on March 29, 2020, we can assume that season 2 will premiere on the last week of March 2026 to the first week of April 2026.
