Ryan Reynolds pulled off the ultimate San Diego Comic-Con surprise by blending in on the convention floor incognito in a brand-new gray Deadpool suit. Posing for photos and mingling with unsuspecting fans, Reynolds later uploaded a clip thanking the crowd whose devotion brought the Merc with a Mouth to life.
The fans got Deadpool off the ground so many years ago. Yesterday, 10 years after the first film and exactly 2 years after Deadpool & Wolverine, I felt so lucky to be on the #SDCC floor with everyone whose unapologetic devotion brings so much joy to this world. pic.twitter.com/IM7DSIjNfs

The stunt escalated when Reynolds crashed Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation for Avengers: Doomsday. Teasing the cast onstage, he jokingly lobbied for last-minute additions to the ensemble. While Marvel hasn’t officially confirmed his return, the high-profile appearance fuels heavy speculation of a Doomsday cameo or a standalone project.
