Last week, Apple officially announced the highly anticipated iPhone 17 series, consisting of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. While the entire lineup shares a number of key features, the Pro models stand out with significant upgrades. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are essentially the same device, with the primary difference being their respective screen sizes.
Under the hood, the iPhone 17 is powered by the new A19 chip, which delivers robust performance for everyday tasks. For photography, a notable upgrade for all models is the new 18-megapixel front-facing camera with Center Stage. All phones will ship with the latest mobile operating system, iOS 26, and come with Apple Intelligence built-in, offering a suite of intelligent features powered by the new chips.
The displays across the entire iPhone 17 series are a significant highlight. All three models feature a Super Retina XDR OLED display with ProMotion technology (120Hz refresh rate), ensuring silky-smooth animations and a highly responsive user experience. The displays also boast an Always-On feature and a peak outdoor brightness of 3000 nits, making them incredibly vibrant and easy to view even in direct sunlight. An anti-reflective coating on all models further enhances clarity.
