The sudden loss of Jaclyn Jose saddened the Philippine Entertainment Industry. The cause of death was a heart attack. Jaclyn Jose, born as Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, received international acclaim when she won Best Actress in Cannes Film Festival, becoming the first ever Filipino to receive it.
