Counter-Strike 2, the sequel to the popular first-person shooter game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, was released on September 27, 2023. The game was developed by Valve and is available for free on Steam.
Counter-Strike 2 features a number of new features and improvements over its predecessor, including:
- Built on the Source 2 engine, which provides sharper graphics, more realistic physics, and better performance.
- Includes a number of new maps and weapons, as well as updated versions of classic maps and weapons from the 10 year old Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
- Together with the updated classic game mode, there will be new modes available in the CS 2.
