President Rodrigo Duterte New Year’s Message to Filipinos

A very positive New Year’s message from the President of the Philippine Rodrigo Duterte. Here’s the full text of his message.

I greet the Filipino people, here in the Pilippines and in all corners of the world, as we welcome the New Year.

As we spend time with our family, friends and loved ones in turning a new page in our nation’s history, let draw strength from what we have achieved both as individual and as a community in the past year. It is my hope that we foster solidarity as we move forward in our pursuit of providing a more comfortable and productive life for all.

We are a time when our resolve is being tested by many trials and difficulties. Corruptoin, criminality, illegal drugs and terrorism have impeded our progress in the past year. However, I remain hopeful that our resilience will enable us to overcome and rise above these challenges as one nation.

Let us embrace this coming year’s uncertainty with a glimmer of hope and remain determined in achieving our visio of a better and more prosperous future.

I wish all of us a fruitful and blessed New Year.

Thoughts on the video of taxi driver who was slapped by a woman motorist

Like what they say, ‘cooler heads prevail’, apparently that did not happen with Ms. Cherish Sharmaine Interior, since she is now the subject of another road-rage case. It’s all over my feed on facebook and twitter, which I assume it will be the same for everyone else.

Anyway, just read the story from the links below;

If only Ms. Cherish Sharmaine Interior let the incident slide and accepted Virgilio Doctor, 52, apology we all be talking about a different story and may be a dash cam video of an idiot drive who keeps cutting a female driver.

So if ever you’re driving in Metro Manila or anywhere in the world, just remember these tweets from Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan;

It’ll be interesting how this story ends.

How to Scam the Scammer?

One twitter user however have a clever way to scam the scammer or in her own words “give scammers a mini heart attack”.

Here’s who she did it; as soon as she receives a text scam that purportedly say that you won half million pesos and a laptop, she immediately replied, pretending to be one of those subscription service that sends a Bible verse each day for 50 Pesos, since these scammers are working on a budget a any amount that is deducted from their budget is big blow to their operation.
