Manny Pacquiao, boxing’s only 8th Division champ, lost to Yordenis Ugas in yesterday’s WBA super welterweight match in Las Vegas and just like in his previous fights, stars and celebrities have a message or two regarding the match.

For a long time now, he has had nothing left to prove as an athlete, one of the all-time boxing greats. Manny Pacquiao will always be the Pambansang Kamao.

I have been covering Pacquiao for almost a decade. I have never seen him make a speech like that and I am literally in tears that this could be the end of an era. 😭 pic.twitter.com/t1kdS0HceT

YOU ARE STILL OUR CHAMP!
“The Olympian” overpowered “The Legend.”

Even Skip Bayless, a known basketball journalist and commentator, gave his two-cents and a controversial topic.
Ugas wins narrowly. I thought Manny would win in the judges eyes because he THREW SO MANY MORE PUNCHES, 800-400.

If that was Manny Pacquiao's last fight, I want to thank him for never ducking dangerous opponents and ALWAYS COMPETING WITH ALL HIS HEART AND SOUL.
— Skip Bayless (@RealSkipBayless) August 22, 2021
All Ugas did was textbook orthodox vs southpaw strategy. Double jab, right straight. He threw in uppercuts here and there but he was disciplined enough to stick to the game plan.

Pacquiao is getting hit with some hard clean shots. Win or lose this should probably be his last fight. #PacquiaoUgas

NBA Superstar Damiam Lillard, would also chime in his reaction about the fight.
Ugas fighting his ass off… and they tryna convince viewers that he not winning this fight… and ima a fan of both! SMH
— Damian Lillard (@Dame_Lillard) August 22, 2021
Love both fighters… but Ugas won that fight. Congrats

Even Errol Spencs Jr., who is suppose to be with Manny in the ring gave a very short and cryptic reaction.
Man 🥺

Another tweet from Terence Crawford, who is at onetime, a potential Manny Pacquiao opponent, which we can all agree will no longer happen.
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 congratulations @YordenisUgas

It still unclear what will be Manny’s plan for his boxing career but it’s safe to say that if he this is indeed his last fight, then we made all Filipino proud and Filipinos boxsers will always be in the boxing landscape forever.
I want to thank God for giving me the strength to fight. I thank my family for always standing beside me. I wish to congratulate Ugas and his team. Although, I hoped for a different outcome, I wish him the best. pic.twitter.com/jsx6vi0DY3
