It’s a done deal, Cristiano Ronaldo is now a Saudi Al-Nassr player and the holder of the richest contract in football history. Saudi Al-Nassr just confirmed the transfer of Portuguese Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to Saudi Al-Nassr FC.
AlNassr FC announced the signing on their twitter account with a photo Cristiano Ronaldo with Saudi Al-Nassr Chairman of the Board Mr. Musli Al Muammar. Saudi Al Nassr did not provide any details on the financial value of the contact but it is reported to value north of $1.2 billion, where Ronaldo will suit-up as a player for 2.5 years and in an ambassadorial role as Saudi Arabia bid to organize the World Cup in 2030.
In their official announcement, Saudi Al-Nassr said that “the deal is more than just writing a new historical chapter. This player (Cristiano Ronaldo) is a great example for all athletes and youth, with his presence in Al-Nassr, we will move forward to achieve most successfor the Saudi club and sports, and for future generations.”
