Watch the first trailer of Disney’s Snow White

Magic mirror on the wall, show us the story that started it all.

From the producer and executive producer of “Wicked,” Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, and director Marc Webb (“The Amazing Spider-Man”) comes “Disney’s Snow White,” a live-action musical reimagining of the studio’s classic 1937 film. The magical music adventure journeys back to the timeless story with Rachel Zegler (“West Side Story”) in the title role and Gal Gadot (“Wonder Woman”) as her Stepmother, the Evil Queen.

The new trailer showcases the scale and beauty of the lavish production design, the beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy, and a first look at the power ballad Waiting on a Wish, one of the all-new original songs from EGOT winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (“The Greatest Showman”).

Disney’s Snow White will star;

  • Rachel Zegler as Snow White
    • Emilia Faucher as young Snow White
  • Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen
  • Andrew Burnap as Jonathan
  • Ansu Kabia as the Huntsman
  • Dujonna Gift as Maple
  • Martin Klebba as Grumpy
  • Colin Michael Carmichael as Farno
  • Patrick Page as the voice and motion capture for the Magic Mirror.

Disney release first look image of Snow White and new release date

Disney just release the first look image of the live action remake of Snow White, starring Rachel Zegler as the beautiful princess and Gal Gadot as the evil queen.

The released image includes Rachel Zegler, who is in character with 7 dwarves. Disney originally announced that the dwarves would be reimagined as “magical creatures” without specifics but it appears that the “magical creatures” will be animated rather than using actual actors.

Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson wrote the screenplay for the film, Marc Webb is the director and Marc Platt is the producer. Together with the image, Disney also announced that the film’s new release date will now be March 21st, 2025, instead of the original date of March 22, 2024.
