Malacañang has declared May 12th as a nation wide special non-working holiday, this is to allow Filipinos to vote for both local and national elections. Proclamation No. 878 was signed by the President early this month.

This election will be a pivotal for the country, since a lot of things depends on this coming election, specially in the Senate and Congress.
