Disney release the official trailer of the Little Mermaid with a new Movie poster

Disney just release a new trailer of the live-action adaption of The Little Mermaid with a theatrical release date this 26th of May 2023.

The trailer is a 2 minute and 20 seconds trailer starts with Ariel (Halle Bailey) saving Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King) from drowning after their ship collided with rocks. Then later we see Ariel being persuaded by Ursula (Melissa McCarthy) to “become a human” in order to be with the Prince. The last part of the trailer are different clips from the film most where we can hear Ariel signing the official theme song of the film – “Part of Your World.”

Together with the trailer Disney also release the latest movie poster of the film were Ariel is sitting on a rock surrounded by King Triton, Ursula and Prince Eric with all their aquatic friends.

The live action adaptation of the Little Mermaid is directed by Rob Marshall with screenplay by David Magee. The songs feature music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman, and new lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The film is produced by Marc Platt, Lin Miranda, John DeLuca and Rob Marshall, with Jeffrey Silver serving as executive producer.

The Little Mermaid is the latest Disney property to get the live action adapation treatment and despite the controversy surrounding the casting it looks like the film will be a great one!

Marvel Studio release new teaser poster for ‘The Marvels’ – will be in theaters on November 10th

Marvel studio just release a new teaser poster for upcoming Cap. Marvel sequel – The Marvels. The poster shows Ms. Marvel standing on the ground looking up to Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau a.k.a. Photon. The poster also indicated the film will be in theaters on the 10th of November 2023.

Premise of the film is still unknown but according to Collider, the film will have something to do with the “swapping places” that happened every time they use their powers. There will also be scenes set on the SABER Space Station, a S.H.I.E.L.D. space station.

The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta, with returning casts;

Checkout the first poster for Netflix’s live action adaptation of One Piece

Netflix just release the first series poster for their live action adaptation of One Piece. The poster is the picture of “Straw Hat” Luffy facing the sunset with his closed-fist right hand up in the air. Netflix’s One Piece series will have 10-episodes and will cover most, if not, all of East Blue Saga.

The casts for the Netflix’s Onepiece are;
Iñaki Godoy as Luffy
Mackenyu as Zoro
Emily Rudd as Nami
Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp
Taz Skylar as Sanji

No exact date as to their the One Piece series be available but as the poster suggests it will be release this year.

Marvel release first movie poster of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

Marvel studios just release first official movie poster of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. In a true spider-fashion, the poster features an unmasked upside-down Miles Morales and appears to be dividing “Spider-People” into two groups.

On his left are the “Spiders” who are friendly with Morales which includes Gwen Stacy/Spider-Gwen, Scarlet Spider and Spider-Punk; while on his right are the “Spiders” who attacked Morales as shown in the trailer released last Dec 14th, which includes Spider-Man 2099, the pregnant Jessica Drew/Spider-woman. We also see other spiders like Spider-Cop, Spider-Man Unlimited, Spider-Man India, Takuya Yamashiro (a.k.a. the Japanese Spider-Man), Spider-Woman, Peter B. Parker/Spider-Man.

It’s still unclear why the other “Spider=people” are aggressive towards Miles Morales but it appears to be related to the “multiverse” and this “new threat.”

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, from a screenplay by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, and David Callaham. The film cast includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson. Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya. Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez. Greta Lee. Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone. Pixar drops Lightyear teaser trailer and movie poster

Pixar and Disney just drop the teaser trailer of Lightyear, a film about the origin story of Buzz Lightyear — the hero who inspired the toy and not the the Buzz Lightyear toy (voiced by Tim Allen), that Toy story have come to known and love.

The trailer starts with Buzz Lightyear as one a member of the Space Ranger, being launch into space and around the surface of the sun. Then later we can see Buzz with an android cat and his fellow Space Ranger fighting space aliens, we also see a glimpse of the ‘iconic’ green spacesuit in its entirety. The trailer ends with the now famous catchphrase, “To infinity and…”

The sci-fi action-adventure presents the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear—the hero who inspired the toy—introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans.

Together with the trailer, Pixar also released the film’s poster that features that iconic spacesuit complete with its green color theme.

Lightyear was first announced during the December 2020 Disney Investor Day presentation. Chris Evan will be the voiced behind Buzz Lightyear, Tim Allen was the voice of Buzz the toy in Toy Story films. The film is directed by Angus MacLane and Galyn Susman as its producer.

Lightyear is expected to be exclusive to theaters in the summer of 2022 and then later on Disney plus.

Disney drops Hawkeye series poster and trailer, will stream on November 24th

Disney just drop the ‘Hawkeye’ series poster and trailer, the next original series that will be available on Disney+ this November 24th.

The trailer (embedded above) gives us a good idea on what the series will be all about and of course, the introduction of the new Hawkeye, Kate Bishop to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The series is set right after the event Avengers: Endgame, and will focus on the development of Kate Bishop, from a goofy-wannabe-vigilante to someone who can carry the role of ‘Hawkeye.’

Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye will be a six-episode series and will star Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop / Hawkeye, Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez/Echo and Florence Pugh reprise her role as Yelena Belova from the MCU Black Widow film.

Marvel drops movie poster and the final trailer for Eternals

Marvel Studios a.k.a. Disney, just dropped a big one for the MCU fans, the studio just release the movie poster and the final trailer of the Eternals film.

The trailer (above) basically showed us the plot of the movie without revealing too much of the film. We see who their up against and glimpse of their powers.

In the trailer, the wise and spiritual Ajak (played by Salma Hayek) explains the situation at hand to Ikaris (played by Richard Madden), “Five years ago, Thanos erased half of the population of the universe. But the people of this planet brought everyone back with a snap of a finger.”

However, the events has caused an unexpected conflict for them, “The sudden return of the population provided the necessary energy for the emergence to begin.” Unfortunately, they only have seven days.

In addition to the final trailer, Marvel release the movie posters, which gives us a good look on how our heroes looks in their respective “Eternals” costume.

Eternals is the third film in the MCU Phase Four arrives and introduces a number of new heroes. The film features Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Barry Keoghan as Druig and Kit Harington as Dane Whitman/Black Knight.

Chloé Zhao directs the film, and Kevin Feige and Nate Moore are the producers, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Kevin de la Noy serving as executive producers. The story is by Ryan Firpo & Matthew K. Firpo, and the screenplay is by Chloé Zhao & Patrick Burleigh.

The film will in theaters on November 5, 2021.
