Pixar and Disney just drop the teaser trailer of Lightyear, a film about the origin story of Buzz Lightyear — the hero who inspired the toy and not the the Buzz Lightyear toy (voiced by Tim Allen), that Toy story have come to known and love.
The trailer starts with Buzz Lightyear as one a member of the Space Ranger, being launch into space and around the surface of the sun. Then later we can see Buzz with an android cat and his fellow Space Ranger fighting space aliens, we also see a glimpse of the ‘iconic’ green spacesuit in its entirety. The trailer ends with the now famous catchphrase, “To infinity and…”
The sci-fi action-adventure presents the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear—the hero who inspired the toy—introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans.
Together with the trailer, Pixar also released the film’s poster that features that iconic spacesuit complete with its green color theme.
Lightyear was first announced during the December 2020 Disney Investor Day presentation. Chris Evan will be the voiced behind Buzz Lightyear, Tim Allen was the voice of Buzz the toy in Toy Story films. The film is directed by Angus MacLane and Galyn Susman as its producer.
Lightyear is expected to be exclusive to theaters in the summer of 2022 and then later on Disney plus.

Soul is co-directed Pete Docter (“Inside Out,” “Up”) and Kemp Powers (“One Night in Miami”), and produced by Dana Murray. The film features the voices of Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey, Phylicia Rashad, Angela Bassett, Ahmir Questlove Thompson and Daveed Diggs. Soul will be in theaters 19th of June.
Just days after releasing its latest movie poster, Disney release the second trailer of Incredibles 2. The video (below) shows the challenges of being a superhero and at the same time raising a family. We can also see Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) and the new villain, Screen Slaver.
Directed by Brad Bird, Incredibles 2 will be in theaters on the 15th of June.
