DMW: Taiwan increases minimum wage of OFW to $967 or around ₱56K per month

Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) in a Facebook post announced that Taiwan has increase the minimum wage for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) to $967 (USD) or around ₱56K per month, and $6.45 (USD) for hourly rate that’s ₱375.04. DMW added that the new minimum wage will take effect on January 1, 2026. Changes to Passport Renewal Process at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh this New Year

Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced the safety return of four (4) abused Filipino Nurses from Saudi Arabia. The four nurses originally filed a labor complaint against their employer for maltreatment, verbal and physical abuse, and unpaid salaries.
