The Sabrina 3, Sabrina Ionescu’s latest signature basketball shoe, evolves from the success of its predecessors by blending high-performance features with a design deeply rooted in her Romanian heritage. Nike collaborates with Titan 22 to launch the Nike Sabrina 2 X TITAN

Nike and Titan 22 just launch the Nike Sabrina 2 X TITAN, a version of the Sabrina Ionescu’s signature shoes but with a Filipino twists.

On titan22.com;

Designed by Filipina visual artists Aila Torre, Lari Gazmen and TITAN’s own Alessah Papa, the Nike Sabrina 2 X TITAN is predominantly covered in a light bone tone for a neutral look, and accented with purple, emerald, and blush as a nod to the TITAN Show Her Love tournament; while touches of seafoam honor Sabrina’s growing legacy with the New York Liberty.

Also woven into the vibrant design are three key graphic elements that capture the foundation of the partnership. The Fire Spinner plant inspired the pink-to-yellow gradient Swoosh, and is also imprinted on the right insole. A reflection of Sabrina’s fiery passion and ice-cold game, it also represents the resilience of women’s basketball in the Philippines. On the left insole, it features an illustration of empty bleachers in an arena: a poetic reminder of all the people who are not yet here, and all the space TITAN and Sabrina are making for them once they arrive.

Completing the design are the ‘Make Space’ typography and the Sabrina-esque silhouette graphic on the heel that’s inspired by Tangram puzzles and Bauhaus shapes. Designed to symbolize a brighter future built together, each shape represents the collective efforts of the women’s community.

UConn Star Paige Bueckers announces her own Player Edition Nike G.T. Hustle 3

UConn’s Paige Bueckers, who grew up wearing Nike, has made history by becoming the first NIL athlete to design and launch her own Nike Player Edition basketball sneaker, the Nike G.T. Hustle 3.

Nike;

Paige’s Nike G.T. Hustle 3 is meant to propel her performance during the final season of her illustrious collegiate career, leveraging Nike’s best basketball innovations in a silhouette that maximizes energy return from tip-off to buzzer.

Key to that performance is a forefoot Air Zoom unit and sewn-in Air Zoom strobel that create a double-stacked layer of Air underfoot for enhanced energy storage and return. The Air Zoom in the forefoot is partnered with a soft and resilient heel, along with a higher offset, to promote a smooth heel-to-toe transition. A Radial Knit upper, meanwhile, delivers zonal containment and support in a soft, lightweight and breathable package.

Paige’s Nike G.T. Hustle 3 will be in baby blue and lavender purple colorway. It also features an embroidered bucket adorns the right tongue, and a creative play on her surname — replacing “Bueckers” with “buckets” — takes over the right heel, and the phrase “Be You, Be Great” on left heel.

The Nike G.T. Hustle 3 Paige Bueckers Player Edition will be available December 7th on SNKRS and at select retail locations for $190.00

Nike officially unveil KD14, Kevin Durant’s latest signature shoes

Nike has officially unveil Kevin Durant’s latest signature shoes, the KD14. In their official announcement, Nike reintroduces the strap to the KD14, which was first used in KD7.

“It’s been a while since we incorporated the strap, which excites me,” says Durant. “My other favorite part about the shoe is the cushioning, which helps me feel low to the ground and still helps give me some of that energy back.”

The strap itself is a familiar sight, but the build is rich with Nike heritage. The design of the simplified one-piece midfoot strap, especially on the medial side, was inspired by the Nike Air Presto. The thin, elongated Swoosh is a nod to the original Bruin model. The engineered mesh upper means that graphics can be uniquely layered for detailed colorway options, covering topics like art, music and more.

The KD14 became available globally on April 10, 2021 and it will be available in Black/White colorway with an estimated price of $150 (around Php 7,500.00). The KD14 Cyber colorway will be available this April 11 in Greater China only.

Durant wore the KD14 during the Nets – Lakers game last Saturday.
