NBA Lottery Results 2022: Orlando Magics takes the No. 1 overall pick

The Orlando Magics magics will have the No. 1 overall selection in the coming 2022 NBA draft in Chicago on Thursday, June 23. The 2022 NBA Draft Lottery was held Tuesday, May 14, 2022 in Chicago.

After Orlando, the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons will complete the top 5 in order.

This year’s draft is highly considered as one of the deepest draft that Auburn’s Jabari Smith Jr., Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren, Duke’s Paolo Banchero and Purdue’s Jaden Ivey. Philippines’ 7-footer Kai Sotto also declared to enter the NBA Draft after a season with the Adelaide 36ers.
