Deadpool 3: Deadpool & Wolverine the film that will reset the MCU and that is a Good Thing!

Marvel Studios just released the teaser trailer for “Deadpool 3: Deadpool & Wolverine.” After mixed critical reception for some Phase 4 and early Phase 5 films, the “Deadpool & Wolverine” project presents itself as a potential breath of fresh air and the film the MCU might need to reinvigorate itself. It could also pave the way for full introduction of mutants, the X-Men, and other Marvel properties.

From the trailer itself, we get to see that the Time Variance Authority (TVA) will be featured in the film, which means that Deadpool and in some capacity, Wolverine will have the ability to go to different Marvel timeline and change the course of that particular timeline be it the past, present and future. Just imagine, the duo joining the avengers with their fight against Ultron or Thanos, or Deadpool snatching the Nano Gauntlet from Tony Stark and the one snapping his fingers. That will surely “change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe”.

Until we watch the fholeIt’s unclear which timeline the duo will “mess-up” and how but one thing is for sure, as the premise of the film goes “Deadpool will change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Wolverine.”

Deadpool & Wolverine is the 3rd Deadpool film and first under Disney/Marvel Studios. It is directed by Shawn Levy, who also directed a number of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman films like Free Guy, the Adam Project and Real Steel. Deadpool & Wolverine is written by Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells. The film will star Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reprising their role as Deadpool and Wolverine, respectively, alongside Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen. Marvel release final trailer and movie poster of The Marvels

Three days before its release date, Marvel Studio release the final trailer of The Marvels and its film poster. The trailer started with clips from the first Capt. Marvel film and some of her scene in Avengers: Endgame, which believe it or not, was released 5 years ago.

We can also hear the voice of Nick Fury, Tony Stark/Ironman with Steve Roger with their “WHATEVER IT TAKES’ line in End Game. From there we can hear Carol Danvers/Capt. Marvel, on how even after destroying Thanos, the fight is not over and at the same time Thanos saying that there will always be someone who will continue his ‘work,’ which is, spoiler alert, to collect all six Infinity Stones and, and disintegrates half of all life in the universe.

Trailer

The clip then switch back to the new film, which features Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris reprising their roles as Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau, respectively. The trailer also features the return of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and the introduction of Zawe Ashton as the villain of the film, who wears other half of Ms. Marvel’s bangle, and appears to have the ability to absorb any attack (power blasts) and bounce it back to its wearer’s opponent. Aside from the old clips that they used in the trailer, the final trailer teased that the film will also delve into “Multiverse” territory, which is the whole theme of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universs (MCU).

Together with the final trailer, Marvel also release a new movie posters, which is an artwork by Liza Shumska;

Directed by Nia DaCosta and co-written by Nia DaCosta, Megan McDonnell and Elissa Karasik. The Marvels will star Brie Larson, who will reprise her role as Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captail Marvel, Teyonah Parris returning as Monica Rambeau, returning from the WandaVision series, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel from the Disney+ series with the same title and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. The film will also star Zawe Ashton as Dar-Benn as the film’s baddie and Park Seo-joon as Prince Yan.

The Marvels will be theaters this Friday, 10th of November.

Marvel released the latest trailer and poster for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania

Marvel Studios just dropped the latest trailer for the Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.

The 138 seconds video (below), Kang is trying to seduce Scott Lang into doing something that Kang cannot do in the quantum realm. The trailer also gives us a quick look on what MODOK will look like in the film, which, in all honesty, he looks a terrifying and far from the goofy MODOK that have been portrayed in the comics and animations.

The tone of the trailer, specially the way they focus on Scott Lang at the end while battling Kang, we may see the death of another Avengers, which I’m hoping not the case.

We’ll know whether Scott Lang dies, and if the whole Lang and Pym family will be able to escape the ‘wrath’ of Kang and Quantum real unscathed, on 17th of February when the film hits the big screen.

Together with the new trailer, Marvel Studios also release a new movie posters that also includes the film’s tag line “Witness the beginning of a new dynasty.” which is a play to the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 6 movies Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania will see the return of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/ Ant-Man, Kathryn Newton (Cassie), Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/Wasp, and Michael Douglas (Hank Pym) with Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet van Dyne). The film will also introduce the latest big bad boss of the MCU Kang the Conqueror played by Jonathan Majors and Corey Stoll as M.O.D.O.K.

Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania will be in theaters on February 17th, 2023.

Watch – Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania trailer officially introduceing Kang the Conqueror as MCU’s latest villain

The film will bring back most of the major character from the previous two Ant-man movies; Paul Rudd reprising his role as Scott Lang, a now adult Cassie played by Kathryn Newton with Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, and Michael Douglas (Hank Pym) with Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne.

The trailer clearly shows the premise of the film where Cassie (Kathryn Newton) created a machine that “sends a signal down to the quantum realm” that advertently sends them all there. In the Quantum Realm, which is a totally different universe with its own laws of physics and wild life, and a microscopic civilization that’s more advanced than the “real” world they lived in.

We can also see a glimpse of MODOK, Bill Murray cast as an unknown villain and Jonathan Major’s Kang the Conqueror, who we first saw in Disney+ Loki series. We know that Kang is the next major MCU villain, so we can just assume that the “help” that Kang is asking from “Ant-man” is to escape the Quantum Realm into the “real” world.

Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania is set to release on on February 17th, 2023.

Disney drops Hawkeye series poster and trailer, will stream on November 24th

Disney just drop the ‘Hawkeye’ series poster and trailer, the next original series that will be available on Disney+ this November 24th.

The trailer (embedded above) gives us a good idea on what the series will be all about and of course, the introduction of the new Hawkeye, Kate Bishop to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The series is set right after the event Avengers: Endgame, and will focus on the development of Kate Bishop, from a goofy-wannabe-vigilante to someone who can carry the role of ‘Hawkeye.’

Series Poster

Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye will be a six-episode series and will star Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop / Hawkeye, Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez/Echo and Florence Pugh reprise her role as Yelena Belova from the MCU Black Widow film.
