Malacañang just release the List of Official Holiday for 2027

Proclamation No. 1427, signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on September 8, 2026, officially establishes the Philippine national holiday calendar for 2027.

Here is the breakdown of the holidays categorized under the proclamation:

Regular Holidays

  • January 1 (Friday): New Year’s Day
  • March 25: Maundy Thursday
  • March 26: Good Friday
  • April 9 (Friday): Araw ng Kagitingan
  • May 1 (Saturday): Labor Day
  • June 12 (Saturday): Independence Day
  • August 30 (Monday): National Heroes Day (Last Monday of August)
  • November 30 (Tuesday): Bonifacio Day
  • December 25 (Saturday): Christmas Day
  • December 30 (Thursday): Rizal Day

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham has come a long way in the sneaker world in less than a year. Last June, Cunningham wore $45 adidas sneakers in WNBA games. The following month, she starred in a campaign for the adidas Dame X. Now, her own player-exclusive colorway is on the way.

On Friday afternoon, multiple footwear websites began reporting that Cunningham’s adidas Crazy Energy colorway was on the way. Cunningham confirmed the news by reposting the images to her Instagram story. Below is a detailed look and breakdown of the upcoming release.

NLEX Toll prices to increase beginning March 2nd 2025

North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) just announced that they’re increasing the toll rates this Sunday, March 2, 2025. In their official announcement, “Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has authorized NLEX to adjust its toll by ₱5.00 in the open system and ₱0.72 per kilometer in the closed system effective March 2, 2025.”

NLEX added that “under the new toll fee matrix, motorists traveling anywhere within the open system will pay an additional ₱5 for Class 1 vehicles (regular cars and SUVs), ₱13 for Class 2 vehicles (buses and small trucks), and ₱15 for Class 3 vehicles.”

“Those traveling the full length of NLEX between Metro Manila and Mabalacat City will pay an additional ₱57 for Class 1 vehicles, ₱142 for Class 2 vehicles, and ₱171 for Class 3 vehicles.”

“The open system runs from Metro Manila in the cities of Navotas, Valenzuela, and Caloocan to Marilao, Bulacan, while the closed system covers the portion between Bocaue, Bulacan, and Sta. Ines, Mabalacat City, Pampanga, as well as Subic-Tipo.”
