NBA announces 2022 All-Star Game starters

NBA has officially announced the starters for the coming 2022 NBA All-Star which will be held in Cleveland this February 20, 2022.

2022 NBA All-Star: Western Conference starters

Lebron James will be the All-Star Game captain, with first-time All starts Ja Morant and Andrew Wiggins. The reigning MVP Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets and Warriors superstar Stephen Curry to complete the roster for the Western Conference starters.

2022 NBA All-Star: Eastern Conference starters

As for the Eastern Conference, Nets’ Kevin Durant, Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo and Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid are named Easter frontcourt, with Atlanta’s Trae Young and Chicago’s DeMar DeRozan.

  • Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) – 4th All-Star

The NBA-All Star draft will take place in February 10, 2022, where the respective captains of each conference will choose their starters.

NBA announces key matchup and dates for it’s 75th Anniversary (2021-22) Season

NBA just release the games for the first 4 days of the season and the Christmas day match-up, which will surely hyped-up even the most casual fan.

The nationally televised games will be on TNT, ESPN and ABC for opening week and Christmas Day for its landmark 75th Anniversary Season. It’s also worth noting that the there will be a Play-In Tournament that will be held on April 12-15.

In the announcement, NBA said;

The first four days of the league’s 75th Anniversary Season (Oct. 19-22) will feature eight national television games as part of Kia NBA Tip-Off 2021, with TNT and ESPN airing two doubleheaders each. Those games will showcase 12 different teams, the last eight players to win the Kia NBA Most Valuable Player Award and three rematches from last season’s playoffs.

As for the Christmas day games, NBA will feature arguably the top teams in both conference but the key matchup for the Christmas day games is the Brooklyn Nets visiting Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Durant versus Lebron James. Warner Bros. just release the first official trailer of Space Jam: A New Legacy, which features NBA Star Lebron James with his Looney toon pals; Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Tasmanian Devil, Tweety Bird, the Road Runner, Speedy Gonzales and many more.

Here’s the premise of the film as written in the description of the video;

Welcome to the Jam! NBA champion and global icon LeBron James goes on an epic adventure alongside timeless Tune Bugs Bunny with the animated/live-action event “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” from director Malcolm D. Lee and an innovative filmmaking team including Ryan Coogler and Maverick Carter. This transformational journey is a manic mashup of two worlds that reveals just how far some parents will go to connect with their kids. When LeBron and his young son Dom are trapped in a digital space by a rogue A.I., LeBron must get them home safe by leading Bugs, Lola Bunny and the whole gang of notoriously undisciplined Looney Tunes to victory over the A.I.’s digitized champions on the court: a powered-up roster of professional basketball stars as you’ve never seen them before. Miami Heat wins a hard-fought Game 5, forces a Game 6

Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat forces a game 6 by winning a very close game against the LA Lakers (111 – 108).

Jimmy Butler, who played all 47mins of the game is best player of the night, filling up the stat sheet with another triple-double, with 35 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, He out-duel Lebron James in what can be considered a classic game between future Hall of Famers.

Butler had a lot of help from the other Miami Heat players; Duncan Robinson contributing 26 points, Kendrick Nunn chipping in 14 points, Bam Adebayo had 13 points, Tyler Herro had 12 and Jae Crowder 11. The seventh player, Andre Iguodala, didn’t score but was a big defensive contributor in the game.

The LA Laker got another big game from James with 40 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists but without Anthony Davis, who is already playing through a bruised heel and was limping down the stretch.

Game 6 will be Sunday night (4:00 AM, Monday, Riyadh time).

LA Lakers defeats Miami Heat in Game 4 (102-96), one win away for the 2020 NBA title

The LA Lakers are one win away to bring the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy back to Los Angeles and the franchise’s 17th championship.

Game 4 was a tight game until Kentavious Caldwell-Pope hit a corner three then a block by Anthony Davis on a Jimmy Butler drive. Davis later sealed the game with a 3-pointer with 39.5 seconds left in the game.

Lakers take a commanding 3-1 lead in NBA Finals, the only team to come back from a 1-3 deficit in NBA Finals history, are the 2015 Cleveland Cavaliers, led by Lebron James, who is in a Laker uniform.

TEAM LeBron rallied from double-digits down in the fourth to beat Team Stephen 148-145 on Sunday in the NBA All Star Game in Los Angeles (Monday, Manila time).

LeBron James got huge support from Kevin Durant, Paul George, Andre Drummond and Bradley Beal, taking victory in the new-look midseason show as the NBA used a playground-style selection process over the traditional East-West format.

The game between Team LBJ and Team Steph Curry was basically offensive play after offensive play and the team who decided to play defense won the game which what Team Lebron did in the last 2 mins of the game.

Lebron James was named All Star MVP.

In a post game interview, James said that the post was to “psych” himself out. I guess, without the post game interview explanation,its a little weird for someone with Lebron’s status to congratulate himself. 🙂

Lebron James will join Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387 points), Karl Malone (36,928), Kobe Bryant (33,643), Michael Jordan (32,292), Wilt Chamberlain (31,419) and Dirk Nowitzki (30,808). James is the youngest to reach the mark.
