Just hours after his arrent, Former-President Former-President Rodrigo Duterte boarded a chartered plane that will bring him to the Hague, Netherlands where the International Criminal Court is located. There, he will face the court for the case of crimes against humanity that was filed at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Breaking: Former-President Rodrigo Duterte arrested in ICC Probe

Former-President Rodrigo Duterte was arrested as soon as he returned from Hong Kong aboard a commercial flight landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Tuesday, March 11. Duterte spent the weekend in Hong Kong campaigning to the Filipino community.

Rodrigo Duterte was arrested because of the warrant issued by ICC, which is in connection to the Former-President’s drug war, that killed as many as 27,000 suspects.
