Warriors lose to the Embiid-less 76ers (126-119)

The Philadelphia 76ers broke their nine-game losing streak with a 126-119 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night, in a game where Joel Embiid wearing street clothes and will be out for the rest of the season due to left knee injury.

The Sixers was lead by Quentin Grimes who scored a career-high 44 points, making 6-of-9 three pointers, and 6 rebounds. Kelly Oubre Jr. and Guerschon Yabusele both added 20 points and 18 points, respectively.

It was a close game in the first half but the 76ers were able to build a 15-point lead coming in to the second half but the Warriors was able to tie the game (116-116) with 2 mins remaining in the game but due to some unforced error, the 76ers kept their lead to get the win. The Warriors was without Jimmy Butler due back spasms, Curry scored a team high of 29 points, with a “rare” dunk midway through the fourth quarter. Quinten Post added 16 points and 9 rebounds. The loss ended the Warriors’ 5-game winning streak.

The Warriors will visit Charlotte, and Philadelphia hosts Portland this Monday evening.

Steph Curry scores 56 points in Warriors win over Magic (121 – 115)

Steph Curry scored a season high 56 points, making 12 three-pointers, to lead the Warriors in a 121-115 win over the Magic. Aside from Curry, Rookie Center Quinten Post came of the bend and added 18 points and 5 rebounds. Jimmy Butler scored 5 points, his least productive game as a Warrior, but added 4 rebounds and 7 assists.

This was a great win by Warriors, after being down as much as 17 points in the 1st half, they manage to build a 5 point lead in the 3rd by scoring 40 points in the period, while holding the Magic to just 21 points. Curry had 22 points in the third quarter. This will be Warriorsโ€™ seventh win in eight games since acquiring Jimmy Butler in a trade on Feb. 6.

Paolo Banchero scored 41 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Franz Wagner added 27 points for the Magic but that 18 turnover by Orlando kept the Warriors in the game and eventually cost them the game.

Warriors will visit Philadelphia Saturday night, while the Magic will host the Raptors on Sunday.

Warriors dispatches the Hornet for 3rd straight win (128 – 92)

Golden State secured their third consecutive victory since the All-Star break, defeating the Hornets 128-92. The victory was a team effort, with seven players scoring in double figures and a total of 39 assists.

The Warriors built a 10-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back. At one point, the Warriors led by as many as 39 points. This win also marks the 3,000th victory for the franchise since its founding in 1946 as the Philadelphia Warriors.

Buddy Hield led the Warriors with 16 points, followed by Curry and Green, who each added 15 points and 6 assists. Jimmy Butler scored only 6 points, his lowest in a Warriors uniform, but contributed 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The Warriors are now 6 – 1 since acquiring Jimmy Butler.

KJ Simpson led the Charlotte Hornets with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Seth Curry added 14 points, while Wendell Moore Jr. and Mark Williams each scored 12 points.

The Warriors will begin their five-game road trip on Monday night against the Orlando Magic, while the Hornets will play the final game of their nine-game road trip against the Mavericks on Thursday night.

Warriors on a 2 game winning streak coming out of the All-Star break

Routs the Kings (132 – 108) via ESPN;

Buddy Hield and Moses Moody had 22 points each and the Golden State Warriors beat the Sacramento Kings 132-106 on Friday night.

Brandin Podziemski added 21 points, and Stephen Curry had 20 points as role players stepped up for the Warriors.

Warriors beat Mavericks (126-102) via NBA;

Stephen Curry scored 30 points and the Golden State Warriors beat the Dallas Mavericks 126-102 on Sunday.

The Warriors have won five of six and improved to 5-1 since trading for Jimmy Butler, who made his home debut and finished with 18 points.

Golden State jumped out to a double-digit lead in the first and led by as many as 23 points in the second. Butler and Curry each had 14 in the first half.

The Warriors have won of 5 of their 6 games since acquiring Jimmy Butler and after their game against the Mavs, the Warriors retired Andre Iguodalaโ€™s jersey. Iguodala helped the Warriors win four championships and was the NBA Finals MVP in 2015.

The Warriors’ current record is 30-27, and the team is only 2 games behind the 6th seed. With a majority of their next 15 games against sub-.500 teams, they could easily move into the 4th to 6th seed range by playoff time.

Curry’s 38 points powers Warriors to beat the Milwaukee Bucks (125-111)

Golden State Warriors defeated the shorthanded Milwaukee Bucks 125-111 in a tight game, at least in the first 3-qtr of the game.

Stephen Curry led Warriors with 38 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Jimmy Butler added 20 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals, playing his second game as a Warrior. Draymond Green led the Warriors defense with 5 steals and a block, together with his 6 points.

For the Bucks, Damian Lillard had a game high of 38 points and 7 assists, followed by Kyle Kuzma, who had his best game as a Bucks with 21 points and 6 rebounds, on a 6-of-9 shotting. This will be the sixth straight game that the Bucks missed the services of two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who will be out until after the All-Star break due to a left calf strain.

The Warriors are 2-2 so far on their 7-game road trip, and they will visit the new-look Dallas this Wednesday, while the Bucks will be going to Minnesota this Wednesday as well.

Jimmy Butler scores 25 in Golden State debut to beat the Chicago Bulls (132 – 111)

Jimmy Butler immediately made an impact on his first game in a Warriors uniform, scoring 25 points and 4 assists, Steph Curry added a team high 34 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists, he also made 8 three-point shot. With a combined 59 points, Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry fueled the 25 point comeback of the Warriors and even built a 24 point lead in the 4th qtr to seal the win.

Jimmy Butler traded to the Golden State Warriors for Andrew Wiggins and more

Even though Jimmy Butler said “heโ€™s unwilling to sign an extension,” the Golden State Warriors and the Miami Heat have agreed to a multi-team trade that will send Jimmy Butler to the Warriors and the Miami Heat will get Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson and a protected first-round pick.

Golden State will also trade Dennis Schrรถder to Utah, sending P.J. Tucker to Miami via the Jazz after a previous one-season stint, according to Charania. Lindy Waters III and Josh Richardson join Detroit via the Warriors and Heat, respectively, to finalize the deal.

Warriors win a close game against the Magic at Chase Center (104 – 99)

The Golden State Warriors secured a hard-fought victory against the Orlando Magic at Chase Center, winning 104-99. Its their last game at home before going on a 7-game road trip. It was an ugly game but the Warriors’s defense help them secure the win.

Andrew Wiggins led the Warriors with a game-high 25 points, followed by Steph Curry with 24 points and 5 assists. Andrew Wiggins made key plays, while Draymond Green’s defensive presence was crucial in containing the Magic’s offense.

For the Magic, Franz Wagner lead the team in scoring with 21 points and 5 assists, Paolo Banchero contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds. The Magic made the game close and was position to win the game but the Magic struggled to contain Curry and couldn’t overcome the Warriors’ late-game execution.

This win is a crucial one for the Warriors as they start their 7-game road trip and solidify their position in the playoff race.

The Magic visit the retooled Kings on Wednesday, while the Warriors go to Utah on Wednesday, as well.

Kings overpowered the Warriors in a lopsided game (129 – 99)

After winning 2 in a row, the Warriors fell to the Kings, 129 – 99, Sunday evening. It was a dominant show of force by the Kings leading as much as 39 points. Seven Kings player scored in double digits points led by Malik Monk with 26 points and 12 assists, followed by Domantas Sabonis’ 22 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. Kings PG De’Aaron Fox missed the game due to a bruised muscle he got from their last game against the
Memphis Grizlies.

Malik Monk even had a nasty monster jame late in the 3rd qtr with Kings enjoying a 24 points lead.

Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins are the two bright spots in the Warriors bench scoring 26 points and 18 points, respectively. The Kings will host the Miami Heat Tuesday night, then the Warriors will face the same Miami Heat for their last game of their 6 game homestand, Wednesday night.

Warriors wins 2 in a row and win without Steph Curry

After losing again to the Cavs, the Warriors manage to recover by winning their next two games;

against the the Philadelphia 76ers – 139-105;

Stephen Curry had 30 points and made all eight of his 3-point attempts, and the Golden State Warriors beat the Philadelphia 76ers 139-105 on Thursday night.

Golden State led 35-19 after the first quarter and extended a 16-point halftime lead to 25 at the end of the third quarter.

Curry had 24 points by the end of the third quarter after going 6 of 6 from 3-point range. He made consecutive 3-pointers early in the fourth to put the Warriors up by 30 and left the game as both coaches emptied their benches minutes later.

Jonathan Kuminga added 20 points off the bench.

And against the Memphis Grizzlies – 121-113;

Andrew Wiggins scored 24 points, Dennis Schroder added 17 and the undermanned Golden State Warriors held off the Memphis Grizzlies 121-113 on Saturday night in the latest testy matchup between the rivals.

Lindy Waters III scored 16 with four 3-pointers off the bench on a night the Warriors missed Stephen Curry along with fellow guards Brandin Podziemski and Gary Payton II.

The Warriors will have a 2 games homestand against the Kings this Monday and Miami on Wednesday, then it will be a 4 road games against Detroit, Indiana, Toronto and Minnesota. They can win at least 3 and at most 5 of their next 6 games.

Cavs routs Warriors by making 8 three-pointers in the third quarter (113 – 95)

This was supposed to be a revenge game by the Warriors after the Cavs gave them one of their worst loss early in the season but it looks like little has changes, since the Cavs gave the Warriors another beating.

Unlike the first game, it was a competitive first half with an 8-point lead by the Cavs at the start of the 3rd qtr. Then Cleveland went on a 20 to 5 run creating a 22-points lead and basically ending the game with still 7:43 mins time left in the 3rd.

Donovan Mitchell lead the Cavs in their 3rd qtr run making 5 three-points, he ended the game with 23 points and 4 assists. Darius Garland lead the team with 25 points and 8 assists. Jarrett Allen added 12 points and 9 rebounds, including a nasty dunk in the 4 mins mark of the 3rd qtr.

The Warriors struggled to find any rhythm in the third quarter, both offensively and defensively. Steph Curry was limited by the Cavaliers to just 11 points and was scoreless in the second quarter. Jonathan Kuminga led the Warriors with 18 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Trayce Jackson-Davis with 16 points and 16 rebounds. The Warriors have lost 13 of their last 17 games, after starting the season 12-3. They are currently tied with the San Antonio Spurs for 9th/10th place.

Cleveland will visit the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night, while the Golden State will hosts Philadelphia this Thursday evening.

Warriors win over Suns behind Jonathan Kuminga’s 34 points

It was the Warriors’ second win in 8 games, including a heartbreaking loss on Christmas Day. Jonathan Kuminga powered the Warriors from the bench with 34 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists. This is Kuminga’s second game scoring 34 points, his career high, which he set against the Clippers last Friday.

Stephen Curry added 22 points, making 4 shots from beyond the arc, with 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Draymond Green and Trayce Jackson-Davis both added 16 points, with Jackson-Davis grabbing 10 rebounds. Dennis Schroder, playing his 6th game as a Warriors scored 11 points, who have been struggling since being traded to Golden State.

On the Phoenix side, Kevin Durant lead the team with 31 points and 6 rebounds, Bradley Beal added 28 points and 5 rebounds. The Suns are missing the services of Devin Booker, who was out due to groin soreness.

Golden State will face Cleveland this Monday evening, while the Suns will host the Grizzlies on New Year’s eve.

Warriors beat Timberwolves behind Stephen Curry’s 30-point Game

The Golden State Warriors beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 114-106, behind Steph Curry’s 30 points, making 5 three-points, and 8 assists. Buddy Heild and Jonathan Kuminga added, 27 and 20 points, respectively.

After building an 11-point lead in the 4th qtr, Timberwolves made an 15 to 3 run to take a 1-point lead with 4:47 remaining in the game. But Curry assisted Jonathan Kuminga for a go-ahead dunk with 2:55 remaining. After making 2 free throws, Curry found Buddy Hield for a corner-three, creating a 6-point lead with 57.1 remaining.

Despite scoring only 6 points, Draymond Green, made a highlight-reel play, by driving past Rudy Gobert for a thunderous dunk, then followed it up with Curry’s signature “NIGHT NIGHT!” celebration. Green also grabbed 6 rebounds and dished out 7 assists.

Anthony Edwards lead the Timberwolves with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists, but only made 2 points in the 4th qtr. Julius Randle added 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Mike Conley scored 12 points.

The Warriors will visit the Rockets Wednesday night for the NBA Cup quarterfinals, while the Timberwolves will hosts the Lakers this Friday.

Nuggets hands the Warriors 5th straight loss (119-115)

The Denver Nuggets gave the Golden State Warriors their 5th straight loss. Nikola Jokic scored 38 points, 10 rebounds and five steals, and helped the Nuggets overcome a 12 deficit by the Warriors, the team even managed to build a 12 point lead. The Warriors are now 12-8, after a 12-3 start of the season.

Nuggets Forwards Michael Porter Jr. added 22 points and Aaron Gordon had 15 points and nine rebounds. Jamal Murray added 12 point with 7 assists, and steal the ball Andrew Wiggins that could have tied the game or swing the momentum to the Warriors.

Stephen Curry lead the Warriors with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists, but is only 4 of 15 from beyond the arc and 8/23 from the field. Jonathan Kuminga scored 19 points, while Andrew Wiggins, Brandin Podziemski, and Moses Moody each added 13 points. Draymond Green, did not play because of left calf tightness. The Golden State Warriors will host the Rockets this Thursday evening, and the Nuggets will visit the Cleveland also this Thursday night. Golden State will also face the Rockets in the NBA Cup Quarterfinals.

Phoenix Suns win over Golden State Warriors (113 – 105)

The Suns just gave the Warriors their 4th straight loss. Phoenix Suns was lead by Devin Booker who scored 27 points and Kevin Durant added 21. Tyus Jones and Grayson Allen added 19 and 17 points, respectively.

This is the 4th straight loss of Warriors after starting the season with a 12-3 record. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 23 points, Andrew Wiggins added 18 points while Draymond Green had 13 points. Buddy Hield, who was instrumental with the Warriors’ hot start scored 11 points but shot just 3 of 7 from the field, 4 of which are from beyond the arc.

The next seven games for the Warriors will be tough, since they will be facing quality teams including Denver, Houston, Minnesota, Memphis and Indiana.

The Suns will host the surging Spurs, Tuesday evening.

Curry and Wiggins combined for 50 points to help rout Hawks (120 – 97)

Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins lead the Warriors to rout the Atlanta Hawks 120-97 on Wednesday evening. Andrew Wiggins lead the Warriors with his 27 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists outing in their win against the resurging Atlant Hawks. Prior to their game against the Warriors, Hawks won 3 game out of 4 including a win against the defending champs, the Boston Celtics.

Steph Curry added 23 points and help setup his teammates with 8 assists. The Warriors lead as much as 31 points in the first half but cut it just 15 points entering the 4th Qtr.

Third Year Jalen Johnson lead the Hawks with 15 points and 14 rebounds. French Rookie Zaccharie Risacher and Trae Young scored 12 points apiece. No other Hawks player scored more than 15 points in the game.

Lindy Waters III scored 10 points and replaces De’Anthony Melton in lineup, to undergo season-ending knee surgery.

The Hawks will their last game of their four-game road trip this Friday against the Chicago Bulls, while the Warriors will visit the New Orleans Pelicans, also Friday evening.

Curry-led Warriors move past Thunders in their Last Road Game (127 – 116)

Steph Curry led the Warriors as they took home the win for their final game of their 5-game road trip. Curry scored 36 points, with 7 of 13 from beyond the arc, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.

It was a bad night for the Thunders as their leading shot blocker Chet Holmgren suffered a right hip injury in first quarter when he fell after challenging Andrew Wiggins on a drive to the basket. Jonathan Kuminga scored 20 points, Deโ€™Anthony Melton added 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Andrew Wiggins has 18 points,8 rebounds and 5 assists for the Warriors.

Even though being down by as much as 30-points, OKC manage to climb back and cut the lead down to just 6 points on a streal and break away dunk by Alex Caruso with less than 5 mins left in the game. But the deficit was just too much for the Thunders as the Warriors took control of the game via Jonathan Kuminga makes alley oop dunk shot (from a Draymond Green assists, then another three-points by Curry to secure the win.

Shai Gilgeous Alexander lead the team with 24 points and 5 rebounds, followed by a 20-points performance by Jalen Williams.

The win will put the Warriors, Suns and OKC on a 3-way tie (7-2 standing )for the top team in the West,

The Warriors will return back home to host the Dallas this Tuesday night, while the Thunder host the visitng Clippers on Monday evening.

Cleveland Cavaliers routs Golden State Warriors to remain undefeated 136 – 117

The Cavs secured their 10th straight win after handing the Warriors their second and their worst loss in a young NBA season. The game was technically over once the Cavs ended the first with a 41-point lead.

It was basically a 3-point shootout and the Cavs won by making 20 of their 42 three-points shots, compare to just 13 made three-points by the Warriors.

Cavs was lead by Darius Garland with 27 points, making 6 of 11 three-points, with 6 assists. Cavs leading scorer Donovan Mitchell added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, Evan Mobley had a 23 points.

Warriors leading scorer Steph Curry just scored 12 points, while Draymond Green only manage to score 6 point, grabbed 2 rebounds and 6 assists. Jonathan Kuminga lead the team with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, then Brandin Podziemski manage to score 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists performance by . Warriors will wrap-up their 5-game road trip this Sunday as they visit Oklahoma, while the Cavs will host the Nets this Saturday night.

Golden State Warriors defeats Boston Celtics for their 5th straight win (118-112)

Steph Curry once again the “Proud daddy of… The Boston Celtics” has he lead the Warriors over the Celtics 118-112. Curry scored 27 points, on a 4 of 9 shooting from the three-point line, with 7 rebounds and 9 assists. He was also active on the defensive side with 4 steals and a block.

Andrew Wiggins and Buddy Hield scored 16 points apiece. Hield was the one sealed the game on a make 3-points from a Curry assist with less than 50 secs remaining in the game. Three bench players of the Warriors has a double-digits points, showing that they have the depth to go toe-to-toe against the top teams in the league.

The Boston Celtics lead by Jayson Tatum scored 32 points, was 5 of 10 (50%) from beyond the arc. Derrick White added 26 points and 6 reounds.

Both team are evenly match but the Warriors is far more efficient with their 3-point shots in this game, 41.2% against Boston’s 35.2%, which could be the difference in getting the win or the loss.

Next for the Warriors is they head to Cleveland to face the Cavs, the remaining undefeated team in the NBA, and the Celtics will host the Brooklyn Nets both this Friday night.

Golden State win 4th straight game over the Washington Wizards (125-112)

Steph Curry scored 24 points in 24 minutes in his return from ankle injury to help the Warriors win its 4th straight game in a victory over the Wizards.

Curry missed the 3 games due to an ankle injury he suffered in a lost against the Clippers. The Warriors despite the absence of Curry, the Warriors manage to win 3 straight games thanks to Buddy Heild’s hot shooting and Warriors bench.

Against the Wizrds, Heild scored 20 points and 5 rebounds, followed by Draymond Green’s 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.

Jordan Poole led the Wizards with 24 points, rookie Kyshawn George added 20 points and 6 rebounds. Washington will start their five-game road trip in Memphis this Friday night. The Warriors will visit Boston on Wednesday evening.

Warriors survive Rockets in OT (127-121)

The Golden State Warriors just bagged their 3rd straight win without their leader Steph Curry, and manage to do it even after squandering a 31 points. After the Warriors built a 31-point lead in the first half, the Rockets answered with an 18-2 run to start the fourth quarter.

In regulation, the Warriors lead by 5 with 28.1 secs remaining but the Rockets manage to close the gap on a Jabari Smith Jr. 26-foot three pointer and Tari Eason manage to tie game by making both of his free throw after being fouled by Draymond Green, committing his 6th personal foul of the game.

Jonathan Kuminga, then took over in OT, scoring 4-consecutve points, then Kyle Anderson added another 2-points to build a 6 point lead with just 2:28 remaining in the period. Fred VanVleet was able to answer by making a driving layup but that was the last point for the Rockets but the clock expires.

The Warriors was lead by Buddy Hield with 27 points and 7 rebounds, followed by Jonathan Kuminga’s 23 points and 6 rebounds. Andrew Wiggins added 15 points for the Warrios in his return after missing two games with a strained back.

Tari Eason led the Rockets with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Jabari Smith Jr. added 21 points and 7 rebounds.

Houston Rockets will host the NY Knicks, while the Warriors will visit the Wizards, both games will be this on Monday evening.

Golden State Warriors sweeps the New Orleans Pelicans for their two-game homestand. The Warriors got the two-wins even though they are missing two of their starters; Steph Curry with a sprained left ankle and Andrew Wiggins with a lower back strains. It was the Warriors bench who kept them in the game.

Buddy Hield and Lindy Waters III Sharpshooting Leads Warriors to 20-Point Comeback Win Over Pelicans

Buddy Hield (28 PTS, 7 3PM) and Lindy Waters III (21 PTS, 3 3PM) combined for 49 points and 10 3-pointers in the Warriors’ 124-106 comeback victory over the New Orleans Pelicans at Chase Center on Tuesday. Hield exploded for 25 points on 8-for-10 shooting in the second half, while Waters scored 17 points over a two-quarter span, which the Warriors won by 25 points.

The Dubs had a 36-point advantage from behind the arc, sinking 21 3-pointers compared to just nine for the Pelicans. Depth and perimeter shooting have been pillars emphasized by Head Coach Steve Kerr about this group and both were on display on Tuesday, as the Warriors were without Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins and De’Anthony Melton. They trailed by as many as 20 points and nearly did a full-reversal, winning by 18.

Dubs Defeat Pelicans for Second Time in Two Nights

Six Dubs scored in double figures as the Golden State Warriors defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 104-89 at Chase Center on Wednesday night.

Buddy Hield led the way with 21 points off the bench, while Brandin Podziemski finished with a near triple-double, recording 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Golden State Warriors routs Utah Jazz behind Buddy Hield’s 27-points game (127 – 86)

It looks like the Golden State Warriors got the perfect player, Buddy Hield to replace Klay Thompson, in terms of production and shooting prowess. The former Sixers lead the Warriors with 24 points, all in the first half, hitting 6 of 7 three-pointers, to help the Warriors to have a 2-0 start of the season. In his first two games as a Warriors, Buddy Hield is shooting 69.2% on the field, averages 24.5 points per game and 75% from the 3-point line, that’s 12 out of 16 three-point shot.

Steph Curry added 20 points, 3 rebound and 4 assists, from the inside Trayce Jackson Davis scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Just like their first game, Warriors Head Coach emptied the bench and gave all players at least 6 mins of game time. This is understandable, since it’s still early in the season and this will be the perfect time to give the young players a taste on what’s it like playing in the NBA, of course this may change when the Warriors face a non-lottery team that would force Steve Kerr to use a shorter rotation.

Golden State Warriors wins 1st game of the Season over Portland Trail Blazers (139 – 104)

On their first game of the season, the Golden State Warriors appeared to have “move on” from Klay Thompson, after trading the “other half” of the Splash Brothers to the Dallas Mavericks.

Steph Curry was flirting with a triple-double, scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists and 2 steals. Curry shot 4 for 7 from behind the arc, all this in just 25 mins of playing time. He did received a lot of help from the rest of the Warriors. Seven GSW players scored in double-digit point and every Warriors played at least 5 mins.

Buddy Hield, who was traded to the Warriors this off season, scored a 22 points on a 8-12 shooting and 5 of 7 from the three-point line. Andrew Wiggins also made an impact on the game, contributing 20 points and 4 rebounds.

Portland Trail Blazers had a hot start leading as many as 9 points but that was in the first qtr and the Warriors slowly turned it around and built a 27 point lead by the end of the 3rd, which at the time Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr played his young guys and bench players.

The Trail Blazers will host Pelicans on Friday, while the Warriors will go to the Utah also on Friday.

USA Basketball officially announced the 2024 USA Basketball Menโ€™s National Team

The USA Basketball has officially announced the 12-man roster of the 2024 USA Basketball Menโ€™s National Team for this year’s Summer Olympic bound for Paris. The team was selected by USA Basketball Menโ€™s National Team managing director Grant Hill and approved by the USA Basketball Board of Directors.

The 2024 USA Menโ€™s National Team will be led by head coach Steve Kerr (Golden State Warriors), who is assisted by Mark Few (Gonzaga University), Tyronn Lue (L.A. Clippers) and Erik Spoelstra (Miami Heat). Last summer, the quartet coached the 2023 USA Basketball Menโ€™s National Team to a fourth-place finish at the 2023 FIBA Menโ€™s World Cup in Manila.

The team boasts of 12 NBA All-Stars, four NBA MVPs and six NBA champions, as for their international experience, the team brings a combined 11 Olympic appearances and owns 10 Olympic gold medals as well as three FIBA World Cup titles. Talent-wise, we can say that the 2024 Dream team can be compared to the 1992 Dream Team, as for their performance, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

If you want to see the team in action, USA Basketball will commence training camp on July 6 in Las Vegas. Following the game vs. Canada, the Americans will embark on an international training window that begins when the USA hosts Australia and Serbia on July 15 and 17, respectively, at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Australia and Serbia will also face off on July 18 in Abu Dhabi.

Klay Thompson drops 35-points coming off the bench to lead the win against the Utah Jazz (140-137)

After a disappointing performance against the LA Clippers, Klay Thompson came off the bench for the first time since his rookie season, scored a season high of 35 points, knocking down 7 three-pointers in 13 shots, and lead the Golden State Warriors to win against the Utah Jazz, second time this week.

Draymond Green helped on both ends of the court scoring a season high 23 points, with 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks. Steph Curry was having another off-night, scored 16 points but was 2 of 8 from three-point line. Andrew Wiggins and Jonathan Kuminga scored 19 and 13 points, respectively. Brandin Podziemski, who replaced Klay in the starting lineup, chipped-in 13 points, grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing out 8 assist. As a team, six players from Warriors scored in double figures and shot 53.3% from the field.

For the Jazz, Collin Sexton and Keyonte George lead the Jazz, scoring 35 and 33 points, respectively, while John Collins scored 18 points but made a critical turnover by throwing the ball away ball after rebounding the ball and could potentially gave Utah the lead with just 3 seconds remaining in the game.

This is Utah and Golden State last game before the All Star break, that will take place in Indianapolis on Feb. 16-18, 2024. Next for the Warriors will be against the LA Lakers while Utah will face Charlotte Hornets both games will be on the 23rd after the All Star Break.

Steph Curry makes end-of-regulation 3-Pointer to carry Warriors past the Suns (113-112)

Steph Curry made a last-second three-pointer to lift the Warriors against the Suns in an epic showdown with Devin Booker and former-teammate Kevin Durant.

It was a close game from start to finish and the largest lead by either team was just 7 points. The game got intense in the final quarter with 6 lead changes.

Steph Curry, the leading scorer for the Warriors, secure the lead for Golden State with 3.3 second remaining in regulation, received an inbound pass from Brandin Podziemski and made the three from 29 feet and with the out stretch arms of Bradley Beal and Devin Booker.

Jonathan Kuminga added 21 points and 5 rebounds, while Draymond Green chipped-in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists.

Suns’ big 3 were running on all cylinders, with Ken Durant, a former-Warriors, scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists; Devin Booker, score a team high 32 points and 6 assists, and Bradley Beal added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Golden State Warriors will visit the Utah Jazz on Monday evening, while the Phoenix Suns will host the Sacramento Kings this Tuesday night.

Golden State Warriors win over Philadelphia 76ers behind Wiggins’ 21 point game (127 – 104)

Golden State Warriors routs the Embiid-less 76ers behind the most unlikely trio of Wiggins, Kuminga and Thompson. When we talk about the Golden State Warriors, we immediately associate Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, for this particular game, it was Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga and Klay Thompson, the trio scored a total of 57 points, which helped the team since Steph Curry was having an off-night scoring only 9 points with just 2 of 7 from the field.

Even though the 76ers were without Joel Embiid, they kept the game close in the first half, but in the 2nd half the Warriors broke the game open by going on a 27-9 run, that extended their lead to 25 points.

Andrew Wiggins scored a team high of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr have nothing but positive things to say about Wiggins’ performance;

At the same time, Jonathan Kuminga scored 18 points to helped seal the win for the Warriors, he also grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Klay Thompson bounced back from a bad game against the Nets and scored 18 points, shooting 50% from the field and making 4 of his 5 three-points shots.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, 6 players scored in double-figure led by Ricky Council IV who scored 17 points. Followed by KJ Martin with his 15 points and 5 rebounds. Pat Bev and Tobais Harris both scored 13 points apiece. It also did not helped that the 76ers missed 24 of 32 3-point shot and only grabbing 40 rebounds compared to 52 rebs from the Warriors.

This is the second consecutive win by the Warriors and second win against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Warriors win over Bulls behind the Splash Brothers

The Golden State Warriors got a much needed win to stop their two game losing streak. The Warriors were carried by the Splash brothers, scoring 57 of their 140 points. Both started slow; Steph Curry was scoreless in the 1st qtr and just 6 points in the entirety of the first half, while Klay Thompson scored just 5 points, he 2 of 8 from the field in the 1st half.

But in the 3rd qtr, Thompson made all of his 5 shot from beyond the arc, helping the Warriors build a 16 point lead early the 2nd held, he ended the game with 30 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Steph Curry on the other hand took over in the 4th, scoring 13 points, 3 from the three-point line and made 9 assists with just one turn over. He finished the game with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists.

Together with the Splash Bros; Saric, Wiggins, Kuminga and Trayce Jackson-Davis played a big part in the game. Saric started the game and scored 12 points, 7 rebs, 6 assists and 2 steals; Wiggins added 17 points, 5 rebs and 8 assists; Kuminga and Jackson-Davis, added 24 points and 13 points, respectively. It was a total team effort for the Warriors.

The Chicago Bulls was lead by Demar DeRozan who scored a team high of 39 points, 7 rebs and 5 assists, while Coby White and Zach Lavine added 25 points a piece.

During the halftime break, Chicago Bulls recognized 13 franchise luminaries as well as the 1995-96 championship team during the inaugural Bulls Ring of Honor class. The Bulls said that will add to the Ring of Honor every two years, with the next class being revealed in 2026.

Warriors fell to the Raptors, powered by RJ Barrett’s 37 points game (133-118)

The Raptors gave the Warriors one of their worst loss of the season, behind RJ Barrett’s 37 points game. This is the 4th game of Barrett as a Raptor, who are 3 – 4, since trading OG Anunoby to the Knicks to get RJ Barrett, last Dec. 31st.

This is basically how the game was; the Raptors made 15 of their 33 three-points shot, lead by RJ Barrett, who made 5 of his 8 threes, despite having a great game from Klay Thompson with his 25 points, the Warriors are 14 for 46 from behind the arc with Steph is 0 of 9 from the three-point line, scoring only for 9 points. All Warriors starters are negative in the +/- column.

Aside from Barrett, Chris Boucher scored 17 points and 9 rebounds from the bench, with Pascal Siakam adding 16 points with 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The Raptors were never threaten in the game and at one point, their lead ballooned to 27 points.
