Jokoy to host the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards

Here’s another win for Filipinos, stand-up comic and actor Joseph Glenn Herbert Sr. a.k.a. Jo Koy will host the highly-anticipated 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards. This will be Jo Koy’s first hosting gig.

Aside from his Netflix Originals, Jo Koy is known for his stand-up comedy, where he shares stories about his mother and Filipino culture in his comedy shows. He also has a podcasts with comedian and TV host Michael Yo, called The Michael Yo and Jo Koy Show. Jo Koy has also appeared on over 100 episodes of Chelsea Lately as a season regular guest as well as appearances in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, @Midnight with Chris Hardwick, VH1, World’s Funniest Fails, The Joy Behar Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Last Call with Carson Daly and Jamie Foxx: Laffapalooza.
