Tiktok updates app for Devices with Large Screens

Tiktok just announced that the company has updated the app, so users will have enhanced app experience for viewers using devices with large screens like tablets and foldable smartphones.

The company explained that viewers will now have a better experience watching Tiktok videos using large screen devices, since viewers will have clear video feed, streamlined navigation bars and support for both landscape or portrait view.

The update is a clear indication that not all viewers are using mobile phones to watch TikTok and there may be a growing number of users that uses tablets and foldable smartphones to watch and may be even created tiktok videos.

Google officially announce Pixel Fold

It appears that the leaks are true, since Google has officially announced the Pixel Fold – the first foldable phone engineered by the company.

Beyond the 8 seconds teaser video (below), Google did not provide any other details like the specs, availability and price. The company also said that they talk more about the Pixel Fold at Google I/O this May 10th.

It was previously leaked that the Pixel Fold will be a 5.8-inch phone that unfolds into a 7.6-inch tablet, with a Tensor G2 processor that Google developed and a battery that Google claims to last for 24 hours on a single charge, and “the most durable hinge on a foldable.”

Samsung now accepting pre-orders for Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G

Samsung has announced that consumer can now pre-order the latest folding smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3. In a Facebook page post, the S. Korean company said that those who pre-order can receive discounts and freebies worth up to ₱27,400.

There are four ways or options to pre-order;

  1. Galaxy Z Fold3 5G from Samsung Experience Stores and Authorized Stores. Get discounts and freebies worth up to ₱27,400.
  2. Galaxy Z Flip3 5G via Samsung Experience Stores and Authorized Stores. Get discounts and freebies worth up to ₱24,900.
  3. Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G from Samsung Authorized Online Partners like Lazada, Shopee, Abenson and MemoXpress. Receive discounts and freebies worth up to ₱27,400.
  4. Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G thru official Samsung Online Store, the discounts and freebies will be worth up to ₱20,400.

The pre-order period will be from Aug 19. 2021 to Sep 21. 2021.

The new Motorola Razr 5G is foldable phone with a 6.2″ HD+ Cinema Vision Foldable Touchscreen Display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G CPU and supports 5G connectivity. The new Motorola Razr 5G was first announced last month with a price tag of $1,199.99 (USD).
