Vin Diesel Updates Fans on Sequel to Fast X

In a recent Instagram post, Diesel shared an update after a meeting with the writers and team, describing the atmosphere as “incredibly powerful” and the excitement for the “grand finale” as “an understatement.”

This news comes after Diesel previously announced “Fast X” would be the final chapter in the saga, but it seems plans have shifted. While “Fast X” will likely tie up loose ends, Diesel assures fans that the sequel will be more than just an ending: “This grand finale is not just an ending; it’s a celebration of the incredible family we’ve built together.”

While specific plot details remain under wraps, Diesel’s enthusiasm hints at an epic conclusion that will honor the “Fast & Furious” legacy. The sequel, currently untitled, is slated for release on April 4, 2025, directed by Louis Leterrier (“The Transporter”).

This update is sure to ignite speculation among fans, with questions swirling about returning cast members, potential storylines, and the level of over-the-top action the finale will bring. With “Fast X” hitting theaters in May 2023, the wait for the grand conclusion might feel like an eternity, but Diesel’s words promise a thrilling ride worth waiting for. Get ready to say goodbye – or maybe just see you later – to Dom, Letty, and the rest of the “Fast & Furious” family in what promises to be an explosive farewell.

Vin Diesel tease the release of Fast X trailer release date

We all know that there will be a 10th installment of Fast & Furious, which is aptly called Fast X with a reported release date of May 19, 2023. Now Vin Diesel just revealed that the first trailer of Fast X is scheduled for release in less than 2 months which is more or less by end of January 2023 or by mid Feb of next year.

Since the death of Paul Walker (Brian O’Conner), the Fast & Furious films shifted their focus on the Toretto family and in Fast X, they will introduce Abuela Toretto, portrayed by Rita Moreno, known for her work as West Side Story, Slums of Beverly Hills and the 1956 classic ‘The King and I.’

Fast X is directed by Louis Leterrier and several cast members reprising their role, including Vin Diesel as Dominic “Dom” Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey and Sung Kang as Han Lue. Charlize Theron will return as the antagonist Cipher and Helen Mirren as Queenie. Jason Momoa will be the new villain Dante, who will be working with Theron’s Cipher, and Brie Larson (MCU’s Capt. Marvel) as Tess.

The premise of Fast X on Wiki did not provide any details but I’m sure we’ll know more once we see the trailer.
