Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announces Candidates for the Class of 2025

Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame just announced the candidates for the Class of 2025, these includes Carmelo Anthony, Sue Bird, Maya Moore, Dwight Howard, Doc Rivers and more.

  • Carmelo Anthony – Top 10 in the NBA All Time Scoring Leader, 10× NBA All-Star, NBA scoring champion, NBA All-Rookie First Team, NBA 75th Anniversary Team, Olympic bronze medal and 3x Olympic Gold medal
  • Sue Bird – 4× WNBA champion, 13× WNBA All-Star, 5× All-WNBA First Team, 5× EuroLeague champion and 5x Olympic Gold medal

Finalists will be selected on Feb. 14 in San Francisco at NBA All-Star weekend, and the enshrinement class will be revealed on April 5 in San Antonio at the men’s NCAA Final Four.

Dwight Howard Signs with Philippines’ Strong Group for the Dubai International Basketball Championship

Eight-time NBA All-Star Dwight Howard plans to sign with Strong Group Philippines for the duration of the Dubai International Basketball Championship, which is schedule from 19th January through 28th January in the United Arab Emirates. This is according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

The news was confirmed in a tweet by Strong Group’s official social media account;

Together with Dwight Howard, he will join other former-NBA player Andre Roberson, Andray Blatche and PBA Import of TNT Tropang Giga McKenzie Moore.

Last year, his failed attempt for an NBA come back even after working out with the Golden State Warriors, Howard signed with the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan’s T1 League, he finished the season with 23.2 PPG, 16.2 REB and 1.2 BLK.
