New York Liberty are the 2026 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Champions

In this year’s Cup Finals, Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionsecu lead the Liberty to their second Commissioner’s Cup championship in front of their home crowd. Sabrina Ionescu scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists – her best offensive game of the season, while Breanna Stewart added 25 points and 11 rebounds to help the Liberty beat the Las Vegas Aces 93-85.

The Las Vegas Aces are playing without their leading scorer and four-time MVP A’ja Wilson, who injured her right ankle on Sunday in a win over Chicago.

New York Liberty captured their second WNBA Commissioner’s Cup in 3 years. They won the cup in 2023 against the Las Vegas Aces as well.
