Star Hotshots rebranded as Magnolia Hotshots

The rebranded team will have the same lineup with the addition of two rookies in Robert Herndon and Gwyne Capacio, that the team drafted last October.

Fans’ reaction to Maine’s Open Letter

As expected, fans reacted to Maine Mendoza emotional “Open Letter” and all of the fans that reacted gave an overwhelming position response.

Maine Mendoza publish “Open Letter to her Fans”

Maine Mendoza just published an “Open Letter to her Fans” on her website and then on her twitter account. The gist of of the letter is that she’s “no longer happy anymore”.

In just 5 hours after tweeting the “Open Letter”, fans reacted and it went viral. As of this posting, Maine’s tweet got more than 33k likes, 9.3k retweets and more than 4.8k replies.

Unless you’re living under a rock or a cave, you probably know who Maine Mendoza is, she’s the second half of the AlDub love team, Alden Richards is the other and become a social media sensation with her dubsmash earning her the title Dubsmash Queen of the Philippines.

Gilas fends off pesky Japanese in their first win for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Asian Qualifiers

If not for their great start, the result of the game could have gone the other way.

Most of the heavy lifting were done by Jayson Castro who filed the stat sheet with 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 1 steal in just 29 minutes, and Andray Blatche who finished with 13 points, where 6 of those points are from the three-point line, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 shot blocks.

Gilas next assignment will be the visiting Chinese Taipei on Monday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum at 7:00 in the evening.
