From Rappler;

The proclamation states that the amnesty granted to Senator Antonio Trillanes IV during the administration of Benigno Aquino III was “void ab initio” or invalid from the beginning as the senator supposedly failed to comply with two requirements for the granting of amnesty: (1) application for amnesty and (2) admission of guilt.

The document also orders the military and police to apprehend Trillanes and bring him to a detention facility.

Some thoughts to ponder regarding the harassment of Filipino fishermen in Panatag Shoal

I’ll just post this here.

Kris Aquino’s response to Mocha’s video where two woman kisses Former Senador Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.

The Queen has spoken!

Asec Mocha Uson – marami akong pinalagpas. Nangako akong hindi kita papatulan – but this time you crossed the line. You reminded me of how much I hurt my mom nung buntis ako kay Josh & na-disown ako pero nung 1 month si kuya – naglakas loob akong pumunta sa Times Street & once kinarga niya 'yung apo niya – siya na 'yung pinakanagmahal sa anak kong may autism. 💛💛💛👊🏼

Vice President Leni Robredo New Year’s Message to Filipinos

Written in Filipino, Vice President Leni Robredo is as optimistic as ever, specially this coming 2018. Here’s the full text of her message.

Mensahe

As we spend time with our family, friends and loved ones in turning a new page in our nation’s history, let draw strength from what we have achieved both as individual and as a community in the past year. It is my hope that we foster solidarity as we move forward in our pursuit of providing a more comfortable and productive life for all.

We are a time when our resolve is being tested by many trials and difficulties. Corruptoin, criminality, illegal drugs and terrorism have impeded our progress in the past year. However, I remain hopeful that our resilience will enable us to overcome and rise above these challenges as one nation.

Let us embrace this coming year’s uncertainty with a glimmer of hope and remain determined in achieving our visio of a better and more prosperous future.
