This vlogger cover Just A Girl by No Doubt all by herself to celebrate International Womens day

We celebrated International Womens day last March 8, 2023 and Eunice Jorge of the female-fronted band, Gracenote celebrated by covering a song of Just A Girl by No Doubt. In in the video, we can see Jorge perform the music and sing the song all by herself, this includes the guitar, bass, drums and the vocals.

Eunice Jorge is a member of Gracenote, a female-fronted band considered as one of the most exciting live acts of this generation. The four-piece band composed of Eunice Jorge (Vocals, Keyboard, Violin and Guitar), Jazz Jorge (Back up vocals and Bass), Tatsi Jamnague (Guitars) and EJ Pichay (Drums) have performed and represented the Philippines in one of the biggest International Music festivals in Asia namely Singapore’s “Music Matters 2018” alongside top international artists.

Francis M.’s ‘Bagsakan’ polo sold for PhP620K in a fundraising for Gab Chee Kee Medical Expenses

Chito Miranda announced on his social media accounts that the polo that Francis Magalona wore in the official “Bagsakan” music video, has officially been sold for a ₱620,000. He disclosed that the person who won the bid was vlogger Boss Toyo, who also bought Gloc9’s polo for ₱80k, Chito Miranda’s polo for ₱150k and the polo that “Halina sa Parokya” puppets is wearing for ₱85k.

Boss Toyo also posted on social media that he able to complete the collection;

In his post, Miranda thanked Pia Magalona for donating the polo to help in the fundraising Gab Chee Kee Medical Expenses. Chito revealed that Gad was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2022 and has been undergoing chemotherapy. Miranda also thanked Saab Magalona, daughter of the late Francis M. and Pia, who helped them gather more funds for Gab and her company Linya Linya for donating ₱300k.

Bagsakan is a rap song collaboration amongst Parokya ni Edgar, Gloc9 and Francis M., it was released in 2005 and was nominated for Best Rap Recording in the 2004 Awit Awards. You can checkout the official music video of Bagsakan below;

Ramadan 2023 working hours announced for Saudi Arabia’s Private and Public Sector

Ramadan, one of the Five Pillars of Islam, is just less than 10 days away and all workers in both public and private sector will have shorted working hours.

As announced by Saudi’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), the working hours in the public sector will reduced to 5 hours a day, from 10 AM to 3 PM, while those working in the private sector, it will have a 6 hours workday, flexible time from 9 to 10 in the morning and 3 to 4 in the afternoon.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection and community.

Nissan collaborates with New Balance to create – Nissan Kicks 327 Edition

Nissan and New Balance just create a one of a kind car that both car-lovers and sneaker heads will surely like. It’s not uncommon for car manufacturer to partner with fashion and lifestyle brands to create a “new” product; like the Puma Ferrari shoes or the Porche Design Huawei Mate 40 RS, but with Nissan and New Balance collab it’s the other way around, instead of the car-inspired shoe design, they created a “shoe-inspired” car design. Both Nissan and New Balance literally created a Nisan Kicks, one that they’re calling Nissan Kicks 327 Edition.

Nissan Kicks 327 Edition is “Nissan Kicks e-POWER 4WD” wrapped with New Balance “327” specifications. The car was wrapped material to represent the suede fabric texture of the “327” shoes and the tongue part was carefully created from the reproduction of the shape to the texture of the shoe.

Nissan did not mention if they will mass product the Nissan Kicks 327 Edition but it was exhibited at NISSAN CROSSING (Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) starting last Tuesday, January 24th until this Wednesday, February 1st.
