A few thoughts on “Lanterns”: I love that they developed this as a series rather than a movie; it allows for much more breathing room and development of the characters. Instead of being a sprawling intergalactic epic, the series feels grounded, focusing more on “street-level” heroism. Even though it’s titled Lanterns, the trailer suggests the core focus is on John Stewart’s development as a Green Lantern and his eventual role in replacing Hal Jordan. Lanterns…

Warner Bros. Discovery has announced that its streaming service Max will launch in the Philippines and six (6) Southeast Asian countries this November 19.
