British rock legends Oasis announced on Tuesday they will reunite for a worldwide tour starting in the UK next year, as brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher ended an infamous 15-year feud.
The band, which helped create the Britpop era of the 1990s with hit songs “Wonderwall”, “Don’t Look Back In Anger” and “Champagne Supernova”, announced on X it will play gigs in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and the Irish capital, Dublin.
“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” Oasis said, alongside details of the tour, following days of hints and speculation about the reunion.
The band will kick off the tour over two nights at the Principality Stadium in the Welsh capital Cardiff from July 4, 2025, before performing six gigs in Heaton Park in their hometown Manchester.
No word yet where the group will tour after UK and I recon, depending on the success of the band’s UK tour we may see them in the United States and/or Canada. It may be a longshot for Oasis fan to demand for them to go to the Philippines and other parts of Asia… except of course in Singapore and China.

The Music Commission will host the KCON Festival for the second time in the Kingdom on October 6 and 7 at the Mohammed Abdo Theater in Riyadh City Boulevard, with the participation of 14 Korean bands performing an international concert over two days presenting a variety of Korean cultural music as well as allocating an accompanying exhibition concerned with Korean culture.

We finally have the official band line up for the coming KCON Korean Festival in Saudi. Of all the 14 bands, I only recognize Super Junior. Looks like the rest of the bands are up and coming bands in the K-POP scene.

The KCON Korean Festival will (KCON Riyadh 2023) be on Friday, October 6, and Saturday, October 7, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Boulevard Riyadh City. In addition to the musical performances, there will be an exhibition dedicated to Korean culture. This will provide attendees with a deeper understanding of Korea’s rich history and traditions.

The KCON Korean Festival will return to Saudi Arabia to celebrate Korean culture in all its vibrant forms. This year, KCON Riyadh 2023 is officially happening this fall. The festival will take place on Friday, October 6, and Saturday, October 7, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Boulevard Riyadh City.

First launched in LA in 2012, KCON has since grown into one of the largest Korean cultural festivals worldwide. It now attracts over a million visitors yearly across four continents.

In a tweet on September 3, 2023, Carey acknowledged her Filipino fans, affectionately known as “lambs,” and gave them a pass to start playing her song early.

The tradition of playing “All I Want for Christmas Is You” in September in the Philippines dates back to the early 2000s. The song became popular in the country after it was featured in a local TV commercial.

We celebrated International Womens day last March 8, 2023 and Eunice Jorge of the female-fronted band, Gracenote celebrated by covering a song of Just A Girl by No Doubt. In in the video, we can see Jorge perform the music and sing the song all by herself, this includes the guitar, bass, drums and the vocals.

Eunice Jorge is a member of Gracenote, a female-fronted band considered as one of the most exciting live acts of this generation. The four-piece band composed of Eunice Jorge (Vocals, Keyboard, Violin and Guitar), Jazz Jorge (Back up vocals and Bass), Tatsi Jamnague (Guitars) and EJ Pichay (Drums) have performed and represented the Philippines in one of the biggest International Music festivals in Asia namely Singapore’s “Music Matters 2018” alongside top international artists.
Chito Miranda announced on his social media accounts that the polo that Francis Magalona wore in the official “Bagsakan” music video, has officially been sold for a ₱620,000. He disclosed that the person who won the bid was vlogger Boss Toyo, who also bought Gloc9’s polo for ₱80k, Chito Miranda’s polo for ₱150k and the polo that “Halina sa Parokya” puppets is wearing for ₱85k.
Boss Toyo also posted on social media that he able to complete the collection;
In his post, Miranda thanked Pia Magalona for donating the polo to help in the fundraising Gab Chee Kee Medical Expenses. Chito revealed that Gad was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2022 and has been undergoing chemotherapy. Miranda also thanked Saab Magalona, daughter of the late Francis M. and Pia, who helped them gather more funds for Gab and her company Linya Linya for donating ₱300k.

After their successful reunion concert last 22nd of December, Eraserheads announced on their official Facebook page that there will be Eraserheads’ Huling El Bimbo 2023 World Tour and it will kick off in North America and Canada.
The first concert will be this 19th of May in Las Vegas, USA, and it will conclude on the 16th of June in Toronto, Canada.

Disney Plus streaming service is now available in the Philippines and at the same time, folks at DisneyMusicAsiaVEVO Youtube channel dropped the official Tagalog versions of 6 of Encanto’s most beloved songs; the opening “The Family Madrigal,” to the groovy tune of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” What’s great about these tagalog versions is that it’s not the word for word translation but the right kind of Tagalog translation.

Singer, Song writer and actor Danny Javier has passed away at the age of 75. Jaview is known as one of the member of “The APO Hiking Society, along with Boboy Garrovillo and Jim Paredes.
Javier’s daughter Justine Javier confirmed the news that his father died of “complications due to a prolonged illnesses” at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute on October 31, 2022, at the age of 75.
Boboy Garrovillo and Jim Paredes also posted on their social media accounts the passing away of their long time friend.

All 4 members of the icon Filipino band posted the same cryptic image on their social media, could this the long awaited Eraserheads reunion that we have been waiting for? Eraserheads Frontman Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala (bass), Marcus Adoro (lead guitar) and Raymund Marasigan (drummer) all posted on their IG account an image of the band’s logo – a backwards “E” – at around the same time.
Ely Buendia and Raymund Marasigan did not include any caption, while Buddy Zabala included “Let me hear you sing it.” – a line from their hit song with a Smile; Marcus Adoro on the other hand posted “Et me er u eng et” which more or less means nothing or a lot depending on how to decode it.
It’s anyone’s guess on what their posts means and I’m betting that this could be Ely fulfilling his promise that there will an Eheads reunion when then VP Leni run for public office.

Taylor Hawkins played with Foo Fighters for more than two decades, joining them in 1997. Prior to Foo Fighters, Hawkins was the touring drummer of Sass Jordan and Alanis Morissette, as well as the progressive experimental band Sylvia. Hawkins also played the drums and sang for his own side project band, the Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders.
Foo Fighters are currently in South America and scheduled to perform at Festival Estéreo Picnic in Bogotá, Colombia.

R&B singer Keith Martin singer found dead in his Quezon City condo unit last Friday, March 25. Martin is the singer behind the 2004 hit single “Because of You.”
Keith Martin’s body was found dead in his condo unit in Libis, Quezon City, after neighbors reported to security that a foul smell was coming from the sixth floor. After discovering his body, it was revealed that Keith had already been dead for a week. Keith Martin was 55 when died.
The caused of death is still unknown and police are still investigating the incident.
