Even though Jimmy Butler said “he’s unwilling to sign an extension,” the Golden State Warriors and the Miami Heat have agreed to a multi-team trade that will send Jimmy Butler to the Warriors and the Miami Heat will get Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson and a protected first-round pick.
Golden State will also trade Dennis Schröder to Utah, sending P.J. Tucker to Miami via the Jazz after a previous one-season stint, according to Charania. Lindy Waters III and Josh Richardson join Detroit via the Warriors and Heat, respectively, to finalize the deal.
