Sony drops the first trailer of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

Sony Pictures just release the official trailer of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and watching it bring out a lot more questions than answers.

Like, why the hell did all those “Spider-People”, including Spider-Man 2099, attacking Mile Morales and Gwen Stacy? And why kind of threat would it take for all those “Spider-People” to come together? Also, why is it only Miles and Gwen, to some degree “Peter Parker,” are the only ones who doesn’t know what really is happening in the “multi-verse”? No matter what the answers are, it looks like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is going to be a great film.

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson. Screenplay by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and David Callaham. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be in theaters June 2, 2023.
