After announcing his retirement from Politics last October 2021, President Rodrigo Duterte will now run for Vice President and as the running mate of his longtime aide Sen. Bong Go, who withdrew his VP candidacy and refiled to run for President.
Both President Duterte and Sen Bong Go will be running under the Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan (PDDS) party due to the unresolved issue with PDP-Laban party.

Unang naghain si Go ng kanyang kandidatura sa pagka-bise presidente noong Okt. 2 sa ilalim ng ruling party na PDP-Laban. Kanya itong binawi kahapon (Nob. 13) at naghain ng certificate of candidacy para sa pagka-pangulo sa ilalim ng partidong PDDS.
