This is the invite that Raymund Marasigan receives for ‘El Bimbo’ musical gala

To be clear, I’m not part of the El Bimbo Musical in any way and I don’t know anyone from production. Please stop asking for tickets 😀 I’ve been a bit apprehensive about it which is normal when someone reinterprets your work in a big scale without a simple heads up. We are drawn to things or music that reminds us of our childhood, and the people behind the musical understand that. They sent me a vintage nintendo family computer to invite me to the gala. As a kid, I spent countless hours playing this console with siblings, cousins and friends. I appreciate this gesture and I hope the musical will ‘ratatouile’ you in a similar way. #anghulingelbimbo

In the same IG post, Raymund clarifies that he is not part or knows anyone in production of the musical, permission was already settled by the publisher and they don’t need Raymund any member of the Eraserhead’s permission. Raymund cannot come to the musical gala, since he has (two) prior commitments to attend to.
