PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group has arrested almost 500 call center agents

This PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group where they arrested almost 500 call center agents, is in connection to this report, where 8 Israelis and 482 Pinoys nabbed in Angeles City for their involvement in an online stock trading scam.

I doubt that these call center agents knows that what they are doing is illegal and from the comments on the facebook post, the office is inside Clark Ecozone which means that call center secured the needed business permits in order to rent an office in Clark.

Also, try not to put all BPO employees in bad light, since being call center agent is a very challenging and streeful work.
